@@thenateyoulove because there’s underlying harmonies and echo underneath his voice. Not saying that this is a bad performance or that his voice is bad by any means, but this isn’t completely raw. Tbh I think it’s better they did that bc it’s sounds way better then if it was raw

Great performance but you can hear the auto tune coming in at the solo parts (eg 0:26 and 0:53). Shame because I think he doesn’t need it at all

@@DudeMan-xs3db yeah but the only reason you don't hear the flex tune all time time is because for 99% of the time he is perfectly in tune. You clearly don't understand how pitch correction works. The only reason you can even hear it is cause he went out ever so slightly on a few notes. Pitch correction is most effective when applied to a singer who has really good pitch, other wise you just sound like T-Pain, or you get that unbearable flex tune sound.

@@TheBLDZRR haha no. he is using autotune live^^ everyone that says no has no fkn clue about audio production. I dont care that he uses it cause he sounds amazing. nevertheless you can hear it sometimes.

@@TheBLDZRR You can particularly hear it in the first verse and choruses. It doesn't mean he can't sing it, you still have to be really close to the note for the Antares rack unit to perfect the note. Nothing particularly wrong with it, as I think live shows' purpose has changed. With any kind of music with lots of moving parts (such as this), it's a better experience for the general listener when it sounds nearly perfect. Some people love hearing imperfections and flaws in a performance, others expect singers to be 100% perfect all the time and it's just not reasonable for most singers. Every once in a while we get truly incredible vocalists of basically inhuman levels of consistency but it's very rare. If you think about it from a marketing perspective, this is just a way to make sure the audience is always going to get the best sound out of the show they paid to see.

They're kinda gettin there. They blew the hell up with this album. Even the great Corey Taylor gave them a personal shout out in an interview this year before adding them to Knotfest

It sounds fake because there is auto tune on it. I think he's a great vocalist but I'm just pointing out that's the reason it sounds fake. You can hear it clearly when he transitions to different notes on some parts.

no, it's not weird. it's great that they make you feel emotional. by this i mean not only their music, but their progress too.

You might want to talk to someone. I love this band, but if that made you cry might be some underlying issues. Very happy for them and support the hell out of them, is a bit more normal.
