I'd highly recommend "Bite your Teeth" or "Say Cheese" for a bit of her heavier stuff but a lot of her stuff including her older more pop oriented stuff is sick too.

I don't care if everyone hates this song. THIS is a masterpiece. The production is insane, poppy's character is astonishing, her vocals are insane and extremely unique. This is one of those very rare songs that plays an entire movie in your head with everything that is going on. So many phases, so many unique things, so many characteristics and the (not very long) lyrics. It's INSANE. This is a song of a decade. It's cinematic. Immersive.

100%. People that are like "OMG WHERE'S NOAH" clearly didn't read the lyrics and understand the song. This is a very conceptual track more than just a stand alone single. One of my favorite Bad Omens songs honestly. The metalcore/synthwave vibes are sick as fuck.

Poppy does let it rip fairly often and this song is tame compared to some of her others. As of January 27 2024 in Berlin Germany, Poppy and Bad Omens will be playing their first show together with Pop's as the opening act . A couple of songs Poppy has done to give a listen to are Scary Mask and Say Cheese but it is hard for me give you only just those two because I like most everything she has done since 2012.Poppy by the way has no genre that she does exclusively and as such can not be pidgeonholed and that is what makes her very unique and interesting. Poppy rocks!!!

Noah screamed in the last chorus. If you listen very closely right before, Poppy sings the last violence against nature. He is in the song.

The rythm you are comparing to TDOPOM I felt it too, it feels like a marching rythm, like a marching protest. Very recognizable Folio drums and Jolly's heavy guitar. Also agreed, Noah is 1 creative mastermind and I feel like Poppy is right up there with him, she sings, writes and dances. Great artists, cool new song! I predict a PART 2 in the near future!

This is supposed to be the AI story from his comic that he wrote. Noah wrote the song and music but is not actually in the song.

no, not all poppy songs are like this. But about 20% of them are. maybe 30% ? She doesn't fit into a genre anymore. "Say Cheese" - metal "Everybody wants to be Poppy" - early song (two men in full body/head purple and pink jumpsuits. One of them doesn't move the whole time, you can't miss it) - shows vocal variety.
