Bad Pokemon? NOPE! Bad PLAYERS. Meowscarada Is LEGIT GREAT

I swear the playerbase feels the worst it's ever been right now. Are all the people who quit from Zacian & Mewtwo coming back now having learned nothing or what???

The "problem" with the cat is that it's not a 1v5 carry. It's great for scouting, baiting and ambushing, but it can't be the carry. And as we all know solo queue is a 1v5 game (tbh it's usually 1v9 since your teammates effectively feel like enemies but still)

Meow is an Amazing Pokemon, But Pokemon Unite players are used to Pokemon without mechanics so they think it's bad 😂 but they are the real bad ones with her

With how many sure-hit moves there are, Double-Team is really starting to show some unexpected utility in how often it can be used defensibly. That Glaceon and Machamp were made FOOLS! Also I distinctly remember a Tsareena wasting her Unite on a clone, I'm still laughing at that. Should try doing it to a Charizard and Urshifu too.

I really loved meowscarada but I can’t get a good win rate with her because I get the most terrible teams in existence 😭

Seeing that M2Y die to Floragato was the most satisfying thing I've seen all day.

It's not Meowscarada players, it's the majority of general players. I have always reached Master fairly quickly, sometimes carrying teams to wins. This season I've had more bot games than the last four seasons combined because I keep losing almost every game due to bad teammates. Over the course of 3 weeks I never left Ultra 4. Every game I would win, I'd lose 3 and get a bot game. My Buzzwole (my main) winrate went from 62% to 59% and my overall winrate went from 58% to 57%. I even stopped playing Buzzwole just so it wasn't reflecting poorly on my stats anymore. Almost every game I get a surrender vote going up at 4-5 mins left. The Mewtwo and Zacian metas ruined the playerbase.

The mon juste came out, it's a cat, people love cat, mean a lot of people playing him. His winrate will rise with time and people learning how to run this pokemon.

Meowscarada is one of my best pokemon even before its buffs. I've never clicked with a kit better than flower trick and double team

The thing with Meowscarada is its kits play very differently. Night slash + trailblaze is very traditional speedster, kind of like a cross between Talon and discharge Zera. But flower trick + double team is a weird rouge ambush/outsmart that lets you play mind games. Are you diving? Who knows? The problem with that build in my experience is it's super hard to carry. You have a way in but not a way out. (I can't speak for flower trick + trailblaze. Idk how it compares)

Wish they added a training mode after buying your mon instead of just having a practice area. I had too many games yesterday were my teammates had no idea how to use their characters and when I checked they all had less than 5 games. Didn't have a chance to win at all. Zoro feint, feint, feint.....

This title applies to every pokemon. Not just meowscarda..

I mean I dunno about you people but I’ve been having a ton of fun and success with meowscarada. I am currently sitting at a 64% win rate with it with 46 games and I’ve been running flower trick and trailblaze. The resets are so nutty and leafage feels borderline unfair in lane. It’s so easy to get 3 stacks with it at the start of the game and get away with it. Meowscrada is one of my favorite Pokémon as well so I am glad they did it justice in unite

My Meowscarada win rate is 41%, up from 38% after 150 matches... went 3-12 a few days ago for a 20% wr. The same thing happened when Glaceon released -- had a 34% wr. I outplay pretty much every meow I see on the enemy team, but their side always takes the win. I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong rofl.

Meow is another Dodrio situation. It took a month or two after its release for people to realize how good it is. If a mon isn't brain dead easy to use like Mewtwo, players will write it off as bad because they keep losing. It's literally a skill issue. 😂

Before i play a new mon in ranked i practice a bunch on the move mechanics in the random matches

It's damage is really high. It's that people just keeps face tanking people with meow thinking they'll survive everything. Double team is so unpredictable at times people tend to use unites on the clone

The main reason imo is because its a give away pokemon. There are many players out there that just play free content and usually are terrible. Like quick match players for example. Now you give them this complex pokemon for free with their 5 unite roster and of novice mons and you going to get a poor win rate stat.

Title says it all. She needs some time to get good at and a lot of players just recently unlocked it, which brings down her WR a lot.

I'm not going to lie the first time I played I went right for absol and I have a 96 win rate I've been in this game for like 3 months now and I've been loving speedsters I main them

It is good when u have squishy opposition ... it can't do anything against beffy Pokemons

I don’t agree with metagross’ unite being bad (when it doesn’t get canceled lmao). It’s definitely not the best out there, but getting that arena proc in an important team fight can help a ton. That being said, I am happy it’s getting some buffs haha

I think Meowscarada really not bad. The cat is good to practice with and it's good for offline too. I'm still collecting the petals for the license I wish there was a faster way to get all 100 petals without using the gems.

me personally, trailblaze over double team every single time. the huge distance you can cover, basic attack speed increase to charge up flower bomb dmg, shield at lvl 13, and resets on kills??? i mean come on. this move does TOO MUCH not to pick it. double team is cool and useful in a lot of situations but i truly think trailblaze is OP 😂

In my opinion, MEOW IS THE BEST AND THE WORSE IS THE BIRDS. I have an 86-win rate with Meow and 40 battles I think with it, while with the bird I can't even get one win with so. You can check my user is Miss Circle.

She's a great mon can solo a regi fast the unite as a secure is great just need a lot of practice and don't engage to a stupid fight because of your teammate and doing a 2v4 at 2:30

I really like meowscarada I’ve had a lot of fun with it as well as a lot of luck with it in ranked I prefer nightslash trailblaze over flower trick double team but both builds are fun and are very good I feel like meowscaradas win rate should definitely be higher than what it is but I do understand why it isn’t

Loving the double reset build but don’t get to play it that much with all the mean look/gravity going around. double team can set up some really nice plays tho mscar is too fun

I can't get behind flower trick. In actual comps, with the enemy having sme bulk, i can't switch safely, and good players know to wait for before committing to hitting the cat against double team

Unite players when a new release is not like Mewtwo: *bad* On a serious note I think Meowscarada is legitimately good. Probably around Absol good. I don't think its as good as Dodrio or Zoroark but still good. Its unite is rediculous.

Meowscarada is basically the same skill level as zarororroak. Its very skilled based and it takes brain plays. U cant play brain dead with this pokemon if u want success, so i agree with you spragels thr players are bad. Jihad some very bad players with it both my team and enemy team . Even tho enemy team mewosacada always a little better 😭😭😂

Worst speedster must be either talon or leafeon. Best speedsters should be gengar then zeraora with enough mobility to take a mewtwo future sight and still not be kited . Then prob zoroark and the rest . Comparitively if they had to fight each other either absol or zeraora would win prob absol .

Honestly I had to stop playing again because I couldn’t win to save my life you truly can’t win with 2 afks in multiple games from trolls to lane cinders with goal getter I watched a pika die at least 10 times before 8:50 birds and got zero stacks I legit just sat on pad and closed out my game and uninstalled and I’m masters 1780s but even games I win are so ur enjoyable I still feel like I lost

I would agree with this if more pro players were calling it worthwhile. It's in a worse position than Blaziken, which isn't good since folks thought Blaziken would be a superior Urshifu and hasn't been very effective in that role. Even when I watch you play it, when against worthwhile players it's useless really shows. You end up running around about as much as Dodrio but with nowhere near as much value. To put this in perspective, Blaziken is much better and has a few of the same problems, but still manages to be a serious engage threat. With this Pokemon your engage threat is almost solely uniting. (Granted, I know Overlord has shown some cool things with it, but he's also Overlord.)

Problem is Meowscarada needs like extremely high skill to play and you will die if you do one single mistake. That makes it trash when the meta is filled with many pokemons who reward you like tons more than Meowscarada with the same level skill, example Zeraora.

Meow is gonna go into a talon situation: It's not a button masher like some of the other speedsters, since timing is really important. It's a speedster that rewards patience, isn't that ironic?

It’s pretty much with Any Mon to be honest. You could be playing the most OP Mon but suck at it.

The winrate is low coz the pkmn doesn't have any sense. Meow is a bad copy of Absol. Needs to many basic attacks in the NS/TB set and doesn't have enough damage in its FT/DT set

Meowscarada is too squishy. She lacks the mobility of talonflame and the consistent critical hits of absol. She’s a worse mix of the two in my opinion

I love this pokemon. I rarely lose with her. People just don't know how to get in and out of situations. They want to stay and fight for way to long that is not what a speedster does. She hits hard and gets out.

I am legit on fire with this Mon. I just love fast paced, flashy gameplay. I don‘t know why anyone complains about this Mon. It‘s great! Ngl, it feels kind of a little too strong almost. Update: I just somehow did the cleanest 5 KO in history. Flower Trick and Ulted and they all died. I am so proud. 🥹

All the Meowsacarada's that I have had on my team in masters have been consistently performing well. I mostly play defenders so we we compliment each other well.

Meowscarada is considered bad? That's news to me. I keep thinking it's going to get nerfed. I love how speedy it is. My preferred moveset is Trailbaze (absolutely love this move) and Night Slash.

Before playing certain pokemon in the game, players should know what role the pokemon has to play, what they capable and incapable doing with pokemon under that role and also what to do inside a battle with pokemon in that role. For me, Attacker is so easy to play with under the novice and intermediate difficulty. The hardest would be Mew. On the other hand, Speedster would be the hardest role to at least properly play inside unite due to high skill ceiling and complex playstyle. In short, my advice is to play the pokemon with the role you understand and good at, only then you can try which pokemon you good at. Me, would be Chandelure!

Just try once 10%+ sp atk. with emblems of meow , she becomes squishy but if you can play right you will vaporize the enemy team

I'm a main Zeraora since 2021, meowscarada is my mosr recent favorite... its playstyle is really good, idk why people are hating on it, i guess i like playing (and im good at playing) speedsters. And I also love zoroark btw hahahaha

My internet has been super bad so I couldn't even play Unite. When I can play there's so much lag that I only play auto aim Pokémon. I wouldn't touch speedsters like Meowscarada or Zoroark. Mages like Stored Power Espeon and Electro Ball Pikachu get me through the Master ranks.

I'm a pro Meowscarada player with a 70% win rate. For me, those who criticize this pokemon are because they don't understand how this pokemon plays.

Have to say I completely agree with you. Meowscarada is such a great Pokemon just almost nobody knows how to play it at all for some reason. The community just doesn’t know what balanced is anymore.
