42:46 I remember hearing this whole record/album on a camping trip up to the Sierra Nevada’s when I was 13 (1992) with some friends… One of the guys sisters was older than us, and he borrowed it to take on the trip. I’d NEVER heard anything like it!? 🤯 The recordings were polished, but super fast and had an energy to them… I just could not get the songs out of my head!!! I was hooked!!! (As a kid in the early 90’s it was either MTV, radio or friends that got you “new” music…) And again I’d never heard anything like Bad Religion… (Their name even through me for a loop, I didn’t really understand it… and coming from a VERY religious family… Well, I guess I didn’t process what it meant…) But, the music stayed with me! I guess you could say it was my 1st introduction to “Punk Rock “ music… Not a bad album to get introduced through!!! Ha!!! 🤷🏻♂️😀
@@pears0094that's the same feeling I got with this album, it was my first Bad Religion album and here we are, 25 years later it's banger after banger. Generator and too much to ask IMHO are the best intro song of any BR album.
Taking my 18 year old son to see them next month. I was 17 when my best friend put Generator into the tape deck of my Volkswagen van and my life was never the same.
Nope! Jay is the bass player. Brett was the lead guitarist and songwriter. Well I guess he still is but he only plays in the studio now with them.@@DaveBill-te6we
✌️.. In fact of A bad Religion..I ve read about the very religous, anti abortion movement in USA.. Saw a US Band called,, War on women"here in a small Club. (great, nice poeple).. Try some stuff from here :"Slime-mea culpa" (about sexual abuse to children by members of catholic church).. Ref.. Go to Hell! I Show you the way! 🎸Enjoy. Greedings from north germany
Cheers for uploading all these recent shows! Rad quality for one angle, audience view point..... and rad for those of us in far away lands.... Australia here. (Face to Face, Descendants, and Bad Religion shows are ruling!) 🎉
I was here as the small guitar kid from the meme. The day before I got his autograph and asked him too PLS play American Jesus before I died to the smell
Haven't seen them since 2010 in VEGAS @ House of Blues with T.S.O.L. I was relieved that it wasn't The Vandals. Had just seen them in ARIZONA (The Clubhouse in Tempe) with VOODOO GLOW SKULLS....GOOD time with old friends, R.I.P. Mat & Hud
Haven't seen VOODOO GLOW SKULLS since May 2016 in SAN DIEGO. The last show I saw was DILLON FEST VI in Sage. D.I. was the headliner and also @ DILLON FEST VII
Greg is in the Gordon documentary that came out a few years ago. He plays a little bit of "The Wreck..." on an acoustic in the doc. I'd love to hear the full version.
This statement is the Punk version of Football fans becoming emotionally attached to “their teams.” It’s a low IQ argument across all spectrums of Music with many other bands as well. Mouthbreathers worshipping an influential member who has since moved on from the band… “Gurewitz is gone so Bad Religion isn’t Bad Religion anymore!” LMAO
@@SeamlessFab hey smarty pants, is ok for me to respond? I realize I’m not on the same intellectual level as you, but I’ll try to do the best that I can… Brett Gurewitz is still a band member. He left bad religion after the stranger than fiction album to focus on epitaph records and rejoined the band for the process of belief album. He doesn’t like to tour, so he’s mostly there just in a writing role. Literally all of their popular songs and most of their live songs were written by him. It’s not a knock on the band, it’s just a fact.
One of the best bands I’ve seen live! Along with Social Distortion, Pennywise, and NOFX. When we used to go we were young and in the trenches of the pit, but the last few shows we hung at the bar lol
