I met them at Sydney airport while I was on my way down to Melbourne to see them, we were on the same plane. Had my photo taken with them and I was wearing my bad religion shirt!

My first concert ever was in 2000...It was Bad Religion OPENING for Fenix TX and Blink 182. A lot of people left after Bad Religion’s set.

30 Seconds in and I know with two punk and hardcore icons like Jay and Brian this will be great. I ran into Jay a couple of years ago after a show in Hamburg and he was so nice to take his time to take a picture and have a little chat about how Bad Religion would continue (2015 I think, waiting for a follow up for True North). Really cool guy.

I got to see them in concert last July for my first concert ever! It was truly amazing. I will never forget the experience of seeing my favorite band in the flesh before me and all of us in the audience singing in unison to Generator

Bumped into Brian Baker before a show... literally and by mistake, almost knocked drink out of his hand. He shouted something, walked off then came back to apologise. Had a nice chat after that, class act.

Bad Religion is awesome. I like to call them the “Iron Maiden of Punk Rock”. I think they’re just as good as other bands such as Iron Maiden and LOVEBITES. I play bass and like Jay Bentley’s bass playing. He’s so awesome. Brian Baker is a kickass guitar player. His guitar playing on the “Out Of Step” album from Minor Threat is amazing. “Out Of Step” from Minor Threat is a Hardcore Punk masterpiece. Anyways, Bad Religion is dope. The self titled debut EP is great. Albums such as “How Could Hell Be Any Worse?”, “Generator”, “Recipe For Hate”, “The Gray Race”, and “Age Of Unreason” are amazing. Bad Religion is awesome. Other than that, cool:).

Blasphemy... Not your comment, but the fact that those two bands had the audacity to allow Bad Religion to be the opener. Reminds me of when the Selecter opened for No Doubt. If any of my various bands over the years found ourselves in that position, there's no way we'd take the stage AFTER legends like that. Easy for me to say, I know; I never have been and likely never will be in that position. Regardless, I've gotta say to Blink 182 & Fenix TX (aka River Phoenix): Seriously, guys? Come on, show some respect. I thought you were douchebags before, but damn...

@@haolekoa737 Actually, Fenix TX opened, then BR, then Blink. Granted, BR is one of the all-time great bands, but Blink was by far a bigger name. And they figured "Why not introduce our fans to one of our favorite bands?"

My first concert was the Bad Religion with Promise Ring, and the next tour around was with Less Than Jake. Got there super early, meet Jay that day talked to him for at least a half. Both Gregs came by and said Hi at one point. I just remember wondering around outside the venue cause nobody else was there yet and we saw Jay and we're like "Hey... are we even allowed back in this area" and he just said something like he doesn't know or didnt care or whatever, and then me and my friends talked with Jay for a bit. When Hetson came by and said Hi, then went in the building, Jay just kept talking and one of was like don't you need to go too and set up and Jay just stayed and kept hanging out with us. Easily one of the greatest moments in my life, Jay is such a cool dude.

wish i got to see the From First To Last, Rise Against, Bad Religion tour back in 2004. was such an odd lineup & i was obsessed with FFTL back then. Brian + Jay are the coolest dudes, i could listen to them nerd out all day

Hey - my name is like his name! We're about the same age and I grew up a fan of all of Brian's bands (including Junkyard). I've had people get mad at me on social media for not being "The" Brian Baker, which is hilarious - I wish I was in the bands that he has been in! Anyways, Bad Religion have been a favorite since I heard "How Can Hell..." when it came out. Thanks for the decades of joy, guys!

I've been to a concert in Bremen, Germany around 2002 and this guy from the crowd made his way up to the stage wanting to stagedive (which wasn't eay with a barrier and security guards). The security guards were pulling him off the stage in quite a rough way when Greg, Jay and Brian jumped to his aid and told the guards to leave him alone and let him stagedive. Apparenty it was like the venue's policy not to have stagediving or anything, but they cared more for their fans than some policy. This video confirms what I thought that night - very nice, likeable, down to earth guys

First time I saw BR was with Dance Hall and UL at the San Bernardino fair grounds. UL was one of my fav live bands in the 90s. They changed a lot after their self titled album.

I was at that Gray Race tour Ft. Lauderdale date and I loved all those bands at the time. Scott Russo from UL was caught smoking weed upstairs and was chased by security just before Bad Religion's set. Jay does not seem too fond of that tour.

My first concert ever was a bad religion show and from first to last opened. I thought then it was a weird line up but there was no way I was gonna miss bad religion. It makes sense now that they said it was a label thing

My brother showing and letting me listen to suffer. I was a late bloomer in punk rock. I had the offspring in like 95. And Greenday also. But when I moved to Cali my world changed. I discovered bad religion and then Pennywise and NofX. And for a few years I had no clue that there was so much more. I've always been a punk though. Had a problem with rules. Didn't enjoy school, wrecked my life self medicating PTSD. Then found out why I had PTSD. Repressed memories from childhood abuse. Got help through EMDR therapy! If anyone's suffering check into it!!

I first saw Bad Religion on that tour with Dance Hall Crashers and Unbearable Law. Not only was BR amazing that night, I discovered DHC was the one sole skapunk band of the era that I'd end up really liking. (I actually completely forgot Unwritten Blah was on the bill, since they were one of the most boring acts of the mid 90s, yet they showed up on so many tours)

I remember the bad religion, less thank Jake show! I saw it at, I think the house of blues in Chicago. Anyways, less than Jake played first, and had these massive confetti canons to end the set. Then, bad religion comes on, acting pissed off, because less than Jake stole their confetti bombs. It was obviously a joke because it was like neon color, happy confetti. Then, bad religion comes out in all black, talking about how those bastard stole their confetti, and now how do we end the set?
