I heard this,tune by way of Sublime and at that point had only heard the smoother more pop oriented Bad Religion. I was blown away when I finally heard this original. Bad Religion should’ve stuck with hardcore
40 years after they released this song, millions of people are dying from a preventable pandemic because capitalism couldn't stand to slow down for a few months and people have convinced themselves that they know better than people who study diseases, and we're going on our 3rd year of said pandemic.
God damnit, you're exactly the type of people this song is against. You anti-capitalist socialists are destroying the world. That's not anything to do with the pandemic.
30 years this band's been rocking, a century's they'll be just born !!!!! Bad Religion = Bad Religion !!! They only gonna die, and will reborn forever.
I don't think that most people know the significance of this band, this song and this moment, they set a precedence that has yet to be surpassed. IDC if you like the new records or not, just think they have done it again and again. Whether you think because the newer records aren't as good because they're a cleaner sound. Either way buy the records, support this band.
@JZickler1 I didn't even know sublime had covered this song. I will go and listen to it now, but as it is one of my favorite Bad Religion songs it will be weird....even more weird is that people think that sublime wrote it! ha
Relax. I don't see anyone here who's saying otherwise. Not knowing that a song is a cover is common (*cough* The Man Who Sold the World) but doesn't mean you fail as a fan.
