You are playing competitive Mario maker. You start a level and see the separation mechanism. You go down the pipe, excited for the race. The screen loads. It is 1-1. You scream. But the nightmare is not concluded yet. After 1-1, there is a long stretch of emptiness, flat, no obstacles, just ground. And then the lag hits.
