Man, I loved that tune when it came out, and it was so appropriate for the times. The Harris Era was a freaking nightmare. Strange how things feel very much like back then lately, isn't it?
Welcome to the Wynn era (Ok, now Ford era) Backtracking some groups/songs... Lightfoot to Rheostatics Wreck cover, to this song... And, yes, I remember when the Harris (Harass) government went after social services...Dalton/Wynne government broke their promises to fix it, and, made costs increase... Let's just say 733 doesn't even cover rent anymore, in the city. Poverty.. leads to mental health issues, and, damn, it COSTS to try to find work, and, then, start work. (Rant ended early...)
Times are TOUGH, especially after TWO YEARS of COVID-19 but we must strive to keep Optimistic... The RHEOSTATICS sure remind us of how Hard it is to achieve, but this is Truly a MOTIVATOR...Challenging Us to become BETTER TOGETHER... We Can and WILL make our World and Planet BETTER... 4-SURE!
