Make and Store Badaam Sharbat
Ingredients for Almond Paste:
Almonds 3 cups
Water (For soaking) as required
Water 1/2 cup
Ingredients for Badaam Sharbat:
Water 1 liter
Sugar 3 cups
Elaichi essence 1 tsp
Badaam essence 1 tsp
Ice cubes as required
Badaam sharbat 3 tbsp
Water as required
Directions for Almond Paste Preparation:
1. In a bowl add almonds, water and soak them overnight.
2. Now peel the almonds and add them to a blender. Add water and blend to form a paste.
Directions for Badaam Sharbat Preparation:
3. In a pot add water, sugar and cook until the sugar melts.
4. Add almond paste and cook for 30 mins over medium flame.
5. Add elaichi and badaam essence and mix it well. Turn off the flame and let it cool at room temperature.
6. Now transfer it to an airtight jar. It can be refrigerated for up to 1 month in an airtight bottle.
7. Now in a glass add ice cubes, badaam sharbat, and water. Mix it well and serve.
8. Your Badaam Sharbat is ready.
