Badass Women | International Women's Day 

I watched this video and cried, because recently I've had to deal with a lot of guys my age (18) saying that women shouldn't play sports, and many other sexist statements. It's so frustrating sometimes, and I feel hopeless having conversations with people who don't think I'm worth as much because I'm a girl. Videos like this show me that women are strong, and that those guys are just insecure babies with fragile masculinities. When I was younger it was so hard to feel strong because I grew up with a lot of boys who ridiculed me for just existing as a girl. I hope one day little girls don't have to deal with that bullshit.

This gave me chills. These women and so many other women all around the world are so incredibly powerful, strong, beautiful, and fearless and it's so inspiring to see how far we have come and how much further we will go both in track and field and in everything else this world has to offer. 💜

Finally a video about women in sport that's not full of videos of them bending over or making mistakes... I was so frustrated that the majority of video are like that, what a shame. This was beautifully done, good job and thanks!

I'm so proud of all the winners and the participants... How much struggles they might have gone through to represent their country.. It's easy to have a dream but working for it is very tough... I hope we don't have to struggle more just because we are women..
