I just did this, pain in the ass, which is mostly harbor freights fault with the short wires to the solenoid. I don’t really like where mine is mounted but hopefully it will last for a couple years. Added fluid film on the connects to keep it from corroding.

Why is the label on the winch upside down?

You need more light so we can see every step

No lighting under wheeler would have been nice

Would not recommend a Badland 2500 . None of the holes lined up and the instructions even tell you that you have to drill holes

Why would you buy the harness and still use junk scotch locks? If you would have bought the correct terminals for the the switch on the winch controller it would have plugged right into the new harness. Stay away from scotch locks, that junk will leave you stuck in the woods.

Using wire harness sets it up for the 12volt plug in , installation. Go look at Arizona Kid channel for video
