Resident Evil 3 Remake is a game that you can, without a doubt play over and over! It doesn't even compare to the OG, definate 10/10! My personal favorite parts are definitely: *When nemesis gets the amazing intro by blasting brad in the face with his tentacles *When JILL goes to the RPD *The clock tower section *The gas station area *The grave digger battle & park area *The extremely challenging puzzles (Especially the water puzzle) *The non-repetitive boss fights *The mercenaries mode (Doesn't hold a candle to the OG) *The many extra skins for jill *The storyline and script "You print money, I like money" "You want star's ill gi...*Ahhh* [Gets punched] I could go on and on... It's just the game that keeps on giving!
I like how she says she's definitely burning her clothes after literally running around in T-Virus poop ass fecal matter but yet she's still wearing the same clothes in RE Death Island. 😂
Wow, I can't believe they made a game based on the killer and those 2 survivors from Dead By Daylight. Great to see small companies get a chance out here.
I was very much inclined to give this game a 6/10, but some very large men calling themselves the "Soup Troopers" were kind enough to pay me a visit and show me the error of my ways. Now the only possible score I can think of that this game is worthy of getting is a 10/10.
Even chat gpt can come up with better ideas then this "finished" version we got. 1. Expanded City Exploration: Provide a larger and more detailed Raccoon City to explore, with additional areas, buildings, and hidden secrets. This would allow players to have a more immersive and expansive experience within the city's crumbling streets. 2. Dynamic Choices and Consequences: Introduce a branching narrative with meaningful choices that impact the story and gameplay. These choices could determine which characters survive, influence alliances, and unveil different story paths. 3. More Diverse Enemy Types: Introduce a wider variety of mutated creatures and monsters, each with unique abilities and weaknesses. This would add more depth to the combat encounters and increase the strategic options available to the player. 4. Enhanced Nemesis Pursuit: Improve the Nemesis AI to provide a more relentless and unpredictable pursuit throughout the game. This would create a constant sense of tension and make each encounter with Nemesis a thrilling and challenging experience. 5. Deeper Character Development: Expand on the backstories and motivations of the main characters, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira. Provide additional opportunities for character growth, exploration of their relationships, and personal stakes within the unfolding events of the game. 6. Intricate Puzzles and Environmental Interactions: Incorporate more complex puzzles and interactive elements within the environment. This would encourage players to explore their surroundings, uncover hidden pathways, and utilize their problem-solving skills. 7. Cooperative Multiplayer: Introduce a cooperative multiplayer mode that allows players to team up with friends or other online players to survive the horrors of Raccoon City together. This would enhance the replayability and social aspect of the game. 8. Expanded Mercenaries Mode: Include an expanded Mercenaries mode that offers more diverse challenges, additional playable characters with unique abilities, and a variety of unlockable weapons and upgrades. This would provide additional content and replay value for players. By incorporating these elements, a hypothetical "Resident Evil 3 Remake" could offer a more immersive, challenging, and engaging gameplay experience for players.
I love how streamlined this game is. You can really feel the dev's commitment to the game's pacing, they removed any non-essential areas from the original, and didn't bloat the game with any superflous new content like most of the other remakes in the series. Three years of development time well spent!
my whole family was murdered by a sentient clocktower...I.....I never want to have to recall those memories, and thanks to RE3R....I didnt have too...RE3R>All Games Not RE3R
This game is up there with my favarite games of all time with Hunt down the Freeman, Metal Gear Survive, Resident evil Gaiden, Dead Space 3, Duke Nukem Forever, Aliens Coloniel Marines, Fallout 76, Mass Effect 3, Super man 64 and course ET on Nes, all these masterpiece games made the gaming industry what is it today.
Now that I have had time to think about all the negative things about this game, I must say this is probably the best game ever made. Ever. 10/10, no 11/10.
I remember watching Bawkbasoup Vods in which he didn’t speak so kindly about this game as well as many other Vods as well. I don’t think a timeout would suffice for the horrible things he has said about this masterpiece.
I really looked forward to exploring RC streets and solving those puzzles with the gems and statue. And then, when I actually played it and found out, I beat it in less than half the time it took me to finish resident evil three on the game cube I told myself I would never pre-order a game again
the top 5 best games of all time in order; 1) Resident Evil 3 remake 2) Dino Crisis 3 3) Devil May Cry 2 4) Dark Souls 2 5) Martian Gothic: Unification
I just want to say, i watched this whole video while prepping my thanksgiving dinner this morning. And this game truly is a game of all time, and now it will be tradition to watch REmake 3 videos every thanksgiving. (Canadian, so dont @ me about how its not thanksgiving yet.)
I remember reading an article months before release that said Dario would have a much bigger part in the remake. That were exciting news at the time. And it hurt that much more later.
yeah the original just pales in comparison to the remake. The remake added so many new dynamics (such as multiple choice, multiple endings, expanded city map, more weapons, expanded crafting, more costumes, more music). They even added entire maps. This is a 10/10.
It annoys me that SO MANY PEOPLE say the original in better than this game. Do y'all have eyes? The graphics in the remake are so obviously better than the og, so that alone makes it better in every way.
You don't have to worry about your positioning as much now that dodge exists. Players no longer need to bother figuring a correct route or solving tedious puzzles. Just go straight and enjoy the cinematic that pops up after every 3 minutes of gameplay. Glad they cut off the sections nobody liked. The unsettling music tracks from the original made players uncomfortable and the tamer new renditions help keep us focused on the real experience, which is the action. Every modern horror needs flashlight sections and they delivered. Who wants to waste time looking at background detail in such an action heavy game? In the original game characters spent too much time isolated. Her last escape? OUR last escape. The frequent NPC encounters and over-the-radio dialogue took care of that feeling of surviving all alone in a merciless, uncaring, hostile environment, which we don't need more of in this century we live in. The option of precise aiming gives us that sense of empowerment and control that survival horror in the past failed to provide. The much more serious voice acting compliments the improved, modern dialogue to up to date standards. This game is proof Capcom did not pump out sequels just to secure profit after investing in a new engine, instead of using Unreal. The gameplay of 7, 8 and the remakes, is so unique, unlike any other modern action shooter, that they have full right in saying "a highly generic engine developed by another company would not be appropriate." RE3R is the only game that can stand side by side with the all time masterpiece - Fortnite.
I unironically love RE3R though, like I genuinely love it and I played the hell out of it and made it a speed game for a bit. Which is a big deal for me since I do not speedrun.
I like how they cut out a bunch of irrelevant stuff to make the game shorter, it's really beneficial to speedrunners and people who don't have much free time :) I love how they decided to just have all the remake characters be fowl-mouthed, it's a really effective way of making the game more dark and scary that the originals were lacking :) It's cool how they changed Nemesis, his old design was stale, he was hard to fight, was ableist by withholding items from players who couldn't beat him, and he made the game feel tense :) It's great how closed-off and linear the game is now, removing variation and having the game play out the same each time reduces replayability, letting me spend more time on other things :)
I'm so jealous of you being able to play this masterpiece, I myself would love to experience the clock tower gameplay from my own perspective; alas, my computer would not be able to handle this game, it's simply too pretty and perfect in all ways possible, i would have bought it at full price, too!
I love the hell out of this game. I even love (I mean LOVE) the multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance. So much love went into making that game and the experiences brought me so much joy. I think once time passes people will forget that they're supposed to hate it and it'll get the recognition it deserves. It's a shame that the reception was so terrible. Couldn't have released at a worse time though. That was when negative content was getting ALL the clicks. Still does probably... Anyway, I'm gonna go play RE3.
i used to use a 4k monitor but then i, went with a 38" ultrawide. the loss of those 2m pixels does have a performance benefit, but at 3840 x1600 the overall image quality is just as good as a full 4k resolution
Ill get a lot of flack for this but, RE3 Nemesis was short. This remake was also short. The graphics are god tier and so is the atmosphere. I honestly loved this remake. no joke
To be honest, comparing this to RE4 Remake. I could see why some would enjoy this more than RE4 Remake. Some people don't want to get consumed into a game and RE4 is just this massive game to get into while this one is straight to the point. Sort of a tangent, but a lot of people complain about open world games for how drawn out they seem or games like MGS1 where there is a bit of backtracking and not completely linear. Some like a game that is short and sweet, which I can't say I am against in a game if done well. Some times I too enjoy a game that doesn't make me grind so much and just gets straight into the action and doesn't take forever to finish either.
I SPEND 6 $ ON THIS GAME AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I TIHNK IT SHOULD COME WITH FREE FRIES SO I CAN PLAY RE3 NEMESIS AND EAT FREE FRIES WHILE I CRY thank you for this video and comment section it was better than any joke compilaton ive seen in my lifetime
in all seriousness i really like this game 😭 maybe it’s because i’ve never played the original so i don’t have anything to compare it to but as a stand alone i think it’s pretty good
This game is NOT trash. It's not something you'd place in the dumpster. It's not something you'd play once and be like, "huh that's not really up to the same quality as RE2:remake", but that's ok. It's just not a bad game. A great one you might even say. 10/10.
I love the customizable value of RE3R. It’s so short you can play through multiple times a day to truly absorb every detail put into BOTH of the two environments put into the game. Or if you’d rather have a compact “flash in the pan” experience you can just play once and you get like a whole 2 hours of content for just $60. That’s only like 50 cents per minute of gameplay. And with the lack of any “worthwhile” OP unlockables, you never feel forced to replay the game on different difficulties or anything silly like challenge yourself. Purely phenomenal.
