Badnota is a village in the Kathua District of Jammu and Kashmir. The place is best known for Navdurga-Shakti Mata Mandir which has a very rich history. The place has many legendary temples 82 Puri Bhawan (15 temples). This village is land of God; The village has huge poetntial for tourism with places like Kamlog Gala, Garh Jamadu, Dhaggari, Aad, Chochru Gala etc.
Badnota is connected with road by year 2013. There is a one big waterfall about 15oo feet high which located at the Jhala Nala. This waterfall attracts the many tourists during summer season because temperature remain during this period about 10 degree to 15 degree.
