Hii Dhruv, i see a biggest drawback in this campervan is that, that all the family members are elders with good height. When cooking is happening, only two people can sit on the side sofas which are down but if others want to sit and enjoy looking at the cooking than they have to sit in the cockpit of the car because the large bed which you have built, has no height to sit on the same. You have to always lie down or may be bend yourself, the qay you were bent down in ur video. Kids can sit on the bed but elders have to bend.

just thinking out loud, as opposed to having a separate central folding piece for connecting the seats into a bed, you could have repurposed the central passenger and camper access hatch door for same, cause they appear or look more or less the same size... with limits on weight and things one can carry, i feel every thing in the camper should have multiple purposes... another great build though... Cheers..!!!

Hello Dhruv, excellent execution. I must say fit n finish of your conversion is improving with every new project. The execution of pass through n rooftop deck is superb. I got only one question? What's the final weight of the vehicle? Has the suspension been strengthened/ changed or it's running on stock? I have this question as it seemed the vehicle is sagging on rear side? Another question, what metal do you use for making the body, iron or alumunium? All the best for future builds.
Weight is under OEM spec. Suspension has been reinforced. It is bound to sag due to weight towards the rear, over doing suspension would create instability. We prefer using aluminium mostly.
Firstly congratulations to you, the team and the family who own it. With each of you build, I have seen improvement in quality and finish in your products. That shows the dedication and hard work of everyone involved. Mr. Sandeep's design is very good. The use of rose gold is a nice touch. Two things that stood out on this build for me, were the pass through, actually more like a walk through. Second is the roof top deck. I remember seeing a similar rood top deck setup in of the one of the US builds years ago and it looked quite cool. But that was on a bus I think. The idea and execution on the Isuzu is good. Has there been any additional reinforcements for the roof to handle load when standing on it? I have one suggestion (if you don't mind). I would advise putting a plywood or pressed aluminium sheet on back side of the back rest of the rear seat. Since this will be used as a walk through, there is good chance the seatback or its cover will get damaged while stepping on it or even sitting on it. A flat surface will give it strength and also preserve the structure of the back rest. All in all, lovely build as always. 😀
Hi Dhruv Ji, this is Mathi from Chennai and I am your long-time subscriber, can you please let me know what is the maximum Speed this vehicle can do on the road, and when we are camping on this vehicle how the AC works do we need an external power outlet, or the inhouse power supply is enough to run the AC for 8 to 10 hours.
In next 10 years, Digital age will grow and So many digital nomad will choose to travel while working online. A promising business idea is in being Caravan Van Builder or Separate/Set of Restrooms, Self serving Vending Machine, Safe Parking lot Services will be good business for Caravan Travellers in future. My prediction is people will be owning caravan just like owning a SUV car.
