Bae and I had a wonderful time on this trip, and I want to dive into some specifics about our experiences with the hotel and restaurants.
The B Ocean Resort:
Overall, the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Here are some things to note:
* Valet Parking: Mandatory and costs $65 per night. We opted to park next door at the Best Western for $64 total for 4 nights.
* Room Change: Our first room had a leaking floor, which was quite annoying, but the staff upgraded us to a beachfront suite after we moved.
* Beach and Pool Access: The beach access closes at 6pm and the pool at 7pm. The pool area has great music, a nice bar, and subpar food.
* Dining Options: Several bars, a restaurant, and an express grab-and-go eatery are available.
* Cleanliness: The premises were very clean.
Overall, I’d rate The B Ocean Resort a 4/5.
Rock Bar:
* Food: Okay.
* Service: Slow.
* Drinks: Watered down.
* Atmosphere: Dynamic and very cool.
* DJ: Played a great mix of music.
I’d rate it a 3/5.
411 South Bar and Grill:
* Drinks: Mostly juice.
* Food: Practically flavorless, though it looked amazing.
* Service: Friendly staff.
* Location: Great.
I’d rate it a 2.5/5.
The Big Pink:
* Menu: Extensive with something for everyone.
* Drinks: Equally extensive.
* Service: Great.
* Aesthetic: Cool pink theme.
* Food: Flavorful.
* Pace: Comfortable.
I’d rate it a 4/5.
Ocean 7 Cafe:
* Food: Chicken parmigiana is excellent.
* Service: Excellent.
* Pace: Comfortable.
* Music: Great.
I’d rate it a 4.5/5.
