BAMBI means a middle-aged man that rides a powerful motorbike in British English and BAMBI (밤비) in Korean can be meant as "a rainy night " since BAM (밤) means "night" and BI (비) means "rain" 🌧️🌌 Baekhyun is totally a genius 👌🏽
And in English, Bambi refers to a woman with long legs -- which is where the name for the Disney character comes from -- and it's also the nickname of the character/woman Baekhyun is talking about in the song. :D In western pop culture the name Bambi is given to female characters in novels and movies because it is used as a metaphor for her sexual appeal and appearance. That is why Disney chose that name for the deer in their story because it was a play on the fact that Bambi has long legs and big doe-eyes like a voluptuous woman. :D
No doubt Kai has the sexiest aura in EXO, but Baekhyun’s music is the most overtly and unapologetically sexual. Some of it is downright adult (see ”Drown” on his self-titled Japanese album 🫣). He’s never been shy but he’s reached a point in his career where he can get away with it, and he’s more than willing to do so.
BAEKHYUN himself said the smoke in the beginning of the MV was water vapor that appeared like cigarette smoke. Meanwhile, the exploding street lamps in the background has reference to his super power in the EXO concept which is light.

Baekhyun's 4th solo album and title track is called "Bambi" for multiple reasons. One reason is because one of Baekhyun's nicknames he has been given by some of his fans is Bambi. Fans say he looks cute like a doe-eyed deer. This album is meant to be a gift for fans because he was about to enlisting in the military and he wanted to give us something to keep us company while he is away for 18 months serving his country. However, the song is more about the fact that Bambi refers to "night rain" as you see he talks about in the lyrics -- it's a play on words in Korean -- Bam as in night and bi as in rain. And in English, Bambi refers to a woman with long legs -- and that is where the name for the Disney character comes from -- which is also the nickname of the character/woman Baekhyun is talking about in the song. :D However, the song has very little, if anything, to do with the Disney movie -- the cute little deer with the same name, isn't really even connected to the song. (In western pop culture the name Bambi is given to female characters in novels and movies because it is used as a metaphor for her sexual appeal and appearance. That is why Disney chose that name for the deer in their story because it was a play on the fact that Bambi has long legs and big doe-eyes like a voluptuous woman. :D So Baekhyun is not talking about a deer in the song, but he is using it as a nickname for the woman he is singing about.) As a member of EXO, Baekhyun's superpower is the ability to control light. So, it is thought that what you see happening in the tunnel isn't supposed to be fireworks, but it's supposed to be the explosion of light bulbs, etc. because his passion -- as manifested through his epic high note -- makes him lose control of his powers, etc. I think Tinkerbell in the lyrics is supposed to be a reference to the fact that she is a little fairy that is often represented by the twinkle of light, which is also a metaphor for how he sees the woman he is singing about. Like a fairy, the woman lights up his life. Which, if you want to connect it to EXO's storyline, also could be a reference to the heart of the Tree of Life. The woman in EXO's songs is often thought to be a metaphor and physical representation of the Tree of Life. That is why the members are always trying to save the girl or protect her, or they talk about being controlled by the power of the woman or they are worried about their passion destroying her, etc. It's EXO's job to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force. EXO was sent to Earth on a mission to finding the two halves of the tree and reuniting them in order to restore peace in the world. The two halves of the tree -- EXO-K (Korean) represents one half and EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese) represents the other half -- were originally separated in order to keep the Red Force from gaining control. However, now, in order to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, EXO needs to defeat the Red Force and find where the two halves of the tree have been hidden. So on that note, I think that the train theme is somehow connected to SuperM's/EXO's storyline, however, I am not sure how yet. All I know is that, we see SuperM in a subway train in their "100" MV, we see aespa also in a subway train in their debut "Black Mamba" MV and we see SHINee in an old train station in their "Don't Call Me" MV. We even see Kai on train tracks in his "Film: Kai" solo debut teaser video during his "Amnesia" section of the video and people on a subway train platform as it transitions to his song "Mmmh." And before that we saw Key from SHINee in a subway train in his solo debut song "One of Those Nights." And if we go back even further, you see EXO on train tracks in their "Love Me Right" MV and EXO-CBX (which Baekhyun is also a member of) on train tracks in their "Horololo" MV, etc. And because Baekhyun is the leader of SuperM and a member of EXO, that usually means it's connected to SM's Universe. Fun fact: Baekhyun isn't even part of the dance line in EXO, and when he first debuted he wasn't known for his dancing. However, as you can see, he has now become one of the members who is recognized for his dancing, as well as his vocals. And the EXO members say, he is now the quickest out of all of them to memorize the choreography.
Thank you for reacting to Bambi from our Baekhyun I hope you can listen to "May we bye" by chen ft Onestar is an art this song and battle of high notes. ✨👌🪐❤️
My bias never disappointed when to com solo not only him but every exo members thet never disappointed as a group as a solo artiste i'm proud that i stand a group of full talent boys exo saranghaja ❤️
Baekhyun's power is light, so light in his MVs is very important. In Bambi the lightbulbs explode at the climax note. Since Bambi means Night Rain, I have a theory that in this song Baekhyun shows that he's ready to give up his power for the girl, as rain and night don't go well with light. Thanks for the reaction!! Please, react to Baekhyun's All I Got and Cry For Love, they're insanely good both vocally and lyrically.
Finallyyyy! Omg u guys should also check his b-sides from Bambi, ‘All I Got’ and ‘Cry For Love’ i swear you won’t regret it (color codes lyrics video). His vocal range in these songs almost the same with mariah carey’s! Insane!! He doesn’t have any promotion for this album since he literally released this then enlist to military right after. But he nailed singing this on vlive while eating strawberries out of nowhere. Baekhyun’s crazy vocal is on another level.
