I don't really believe BAFTA at all! What? Everything Everywhere All At Once only won 1 BAFTA, crazy wrong!!! Titanic won nothing of BAFTA? What?? BAFTA gave the award mainly for England filming maker / Actor / Actress , etc !!!

Plague Tale has an amazing soundtrack that specially works great to represent the game's story changes as they happen while you play.

I wouldn't say it's the best game of 2022, but it's incredibly addicting and fun, it can give you hundreds of hours of fun with minimal spending (5$ on PC and consoles, free on mobile with minimal and optional advertising). It's a perfect representation of what good can come out of the modern gaming industry

Good fun game, would recommend for sure, but... shouldn't be in the conversation for GOTY tbh. Even though I personally like seeing a game win that isn't one of the obvious predictable choices there's also good reason those are predictable choices to begin with.

I dunno, to a degree I still agree but… Vampire Survivors has literally pioneered a new genre. There is a significance in that too.

It's voted for by the public, not BAFTA. The awards that BAFTA chose themselves Elden Ring won, but the public vote for game of the year, they literally explain that when doing th award, were you not listening?

Small companies, like the companies that made Rollerdrome, Immortality and Vampire Survivors, which all won awards.... The team that made Plague Tale is one of the biggest nominated, stop inventing stuff just because you're mardy.
