This is a very good point. I'll be sure to touch on this when I make a review video. Based on your comment, it sounds like you also have one. Feel free to let me know if you notice this becoming an issue.
I don't believe you can calibrate it. There is a tare button, so you can insure that it starts at 0 every time you use it. If something happens to the scale, and you believe it isn't reading the right weight, it comes with a 5-year warranty. So, you could get it replaced if need be.
@@JHYO333Hi, tare button is tare button. 😂. Others scales have calibration like Hario and Timemore 😅. This scale have 5 - year warranty? I think not in Polen 😢
The information on the Amazon listing says it'll last for 30 days if used every day for 10 minutes / day (so 5 hours total). It also says you should charge it once every 3 months just to keep the battery operating properly. I have not validated this, but I haven't needed to charge it since I got it and it's been about 5 months. I've probably used it 10-15 times in those 5 months.
I have only been using it for about a month and a half, but so far, I am satisfied with it. It does everything I need it to. I haven't had any issues with it. I will say that I have not used all of the features yet, so I can't give a full review. The only not positive thing I have to say is the automatic timing feature isn't really useful in my opinion. At the same time, you don't really need to use it. You could just use the manual timing feature or the stopwatch on your phone. Please let me know if you have any specific questions, though!
