Not with me though, my parents didn't treated me differently after the movie. Just said "see, this is what happens in this age. This modern era is eating out humanity from people". Then we all slept watching few more movies (krish 3 or makkhi.. as far i remember). Apart from that, what i learned is that "struggle is true!". If me and my brother left them like that, how will they live? I got the realize what my responsibilities are as the blood of that guy, who is working so hard for me, for no reason! Just because he "loves" me or "cares" about me. Maybe same for you 🙃

@@Changearco every individuals has different experience.but I can only say behalf of mine.when this movie came my whole family (which is joint back then) including my uncle,aunt,cousin and his wife,my mom,papa and we sisters watched together,when movie peaks on it's best part all of us feel sad and emotional but my uncle started taunting to his son and daughter in law,I was too young (just 8 ) to understand whole thing but the way my uncle and aunt started taunting and changed his behaviour towards them and also started changing behaviour little off and the result was we never go for movie together. these situations made my father also used to say unpleasant thing in fun for few days.but it's obviously felt guilty and culprit same time.after some time everything was on the track.but whenever this movie came on TV elders started behaving strangely... so basically it leaves some scars and not good experience for my family..

Their children didn't ask to be born, it's parents literal Job to raise their children and provide them with education. Parents aren't doing any 'upkar' on their children by raising them. No, parents can't ask money back with interest because children aren't their 'fixed deposit' or investment. Parents can give their properties to anyone, whomever they wants to give. Parents aren't obliged to give their properties to their children. In this movie though children didn't wanted to they still took care of their parents. But parents got offended in every little thing. Parents were living in big home and they didn't tell their children in years advance that they were planning to live with them after retirement. Their sons were living 2bhk flat in metro cities, with wife and children, they literally didn't had space for them, so obviously they fumbled in starting because they had to make unexpected compromise and adjustment. They got offended that their sons prioritise their wives and children. They didn't just wanted to live with their children they also wanted to control their lives and got offended when their children didn't obey their every command.

Incidentally, both movies have a Khan (Salman & Aamir respectively) in supporting role, who become the saviours of the abused party.
