I love how Bokyung ate pinakbet. I learned when I was in my early 20s that you have to try to eat all the ingredients all at once to experience the real taste of the viand. That's why I love pork sinigang because when you eat the pork with the veggies and soup at once, it just blows your taste buds away, same way with pinakbet. If you eat pinakbet with garlic rice and any fried fish, this combination is also a bomb. Glad you enjoyed the foods teehee

I love Pinakbet but Me as Ilocano don't like pinakbet with bagoong and ampalaya.. . I'm glad ate Sylvia and ate bokyung loved the Pinakbet with ampalaya and bagoong. Hahaha.❤❤❤

first time that I saw someone dipping lumpia shanghai in soy sauce and calamansi, usually it is dip in sweet chili sauce or on its own...but love that Sylvia and Bokyung are open to try Filipino food 😊

i found a very deep and beautiful message about baguio and i think you’d love to know about it. someone said that, “maybe they are right in saying that baguio is for those who are not yet certain of their destination. those who do not realize their dreams. people who are in search for their true selves. the moment they become certain of their existence, they will leave baguio. but one thing is for sure, baguio never leaves. it stays there, ready to embrace another sad, lost, old soul.” i was reminded of this quote when you were saying how beautiful and relaxing baguio is. it is indeed comforting! alot of people (esp those who lives in manila) likes going to baguio for comfort. its not their home but it suprisingly feels home. i’ve been to baguio once but despite the cold weather, a warm feeling somehow never left me. the next time you visit baguio, please take time to enjoy and observe the people inside of it. you’ll see different stories without even asking what is happening with their lives. thanks for enjoying baguio, sylvia!
