I don't agree with RU-vid hiding Dislikes. 28 Likes, 0 Dislikes, 2022-08-28. Just so you know what to expect from the Video.

Thank you - it was great to see these including the Limmat replica!

The Limmat Replica in Steam is a very rare Sight. It was out of Operation for six Years, and that's not because of Corona as it was out of Operation for almost ten Years before that.

Wonderful! Who built the rotary snowplow? The rotor is identical to US design.

Sorry for the late Reply, IIRC I typed something out but a Power Blackout must have destroyed my ANswer before I could post it, and then I just forgot. Anyway, it was built by Henschel in Kassel/Germany, but to an American Design. The other two Rotary Snowplows in Switzerland were built by SLM in Winterthur/Switzerland. Both are Narrow Gauge ones from the Rhaetian Railways, one is still there and the other one was bought by the Dampfbahn Furka-Bergstrecke Steam Heritage Railway. Both are still/again operational too, and get demonstrated in the Snow. The Standard Gauge one here is very unlikely to see Snow Action, as that would require enough Snow on one of the Heritage Railways in the relatively flat Swiss Plateau (Midlands). The RhB runs their Xrot 9213 almost every Winter at Ospizio Bernina, although it's more like showing off with some Snow that was intentionally pushed onto the Tracks before by a regular Snowplow. The Xrot R12 by the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke was actually tested in their anually Springtime Snow Removal, but was painfully slow in the hardened April Snow and even got slightly damaged, maybe you have seen the Video of that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WhbEx9_XXo0.htmlsi=lxOa2DTT1Ihyz4-2
