यूपी के बहराइच में भारी हंगामा हुआ है. मूर्ति विसर्जन के दौरान बवाल ऐसा बढ़ा कि प्रदेश के आला पुलिस अधिकारियों को ना सिर्फ़ सड़क पर उतरना पड़ा, बल्कि पिस्टल लेकर दौड़ तक लगानी पड़ गई. सीएम योगी ने ACS होम और STF चीफ़ सरीख़े अफ़सरों को बहराइच भेज दिया है. STF के चीफ़ अमिताभ यश हालात को कंट्रोल करने के लिए पिस्टल लेकर सड़क पर दौड़ते दिखे. सीएम ने दो टूक कहा है कि उपद्रवियों को हर हाल में सबक सिखाना है. उन्होंने DGP से बात कर बहराइच की घटना की रिपोर्ट भी तलब की है. रविवार शाम महसी इलाक़े में हालात बेक़ाबू हो गए. दुर्गा प्रतिमा विसर्जन के दौरान जुलूस महराजगंज इलाक़े से गुजर रही थी. बताया जा रहा है कि तभी अब्दुल हमीद नाम के व्यक्ति के घर से पथराव किया गया जिसके बाद अफ़रा तफ़री मची. आरोप है कि हमीद और उसके परिवार के कुछ लोग रामगोपाल मिश्रा को खींचकर अपने घर में ले गए और उसे 15 से 20 गोलियां मार दीं जिससे रामगोपाल की मौत हो गई.

It is being told that stones were pelted from the house of a person named Abdul Hameed, after which there was chaos. It is alleged that Hameed and some people of his family dragged Ram Gopal Mishra to their house and shot him with 15 to 20 bullets, which led to Ram Gopal's death.
