We are back with another season of We Asked. The first topic we have chosen for this season is "Bahun". The major question to Bahuns being" How hard is it to be a bahun? and "what comes in your mind when you hear the word 'Bahun'?"

Most of the people didn't know about बाहुन it's make me halka sad😔 बाहुन भन्न ले एउटा जात भनेर बुझ्नु नै भ्रम हो मित्र हरु किन की कुनै पनि व्यक्ति बाहुन हुन सक्छ तर बाहुन मा हुनु पर्ने सम्पूर्ण गुण हरु उसले जानेको हुन जरुरी छ तब बाहुन हुन्छ। बाहुन भन्न ले हामी लाई लोभी,टुपी,धोति जस्ता कुरा ले अल्झयो तर वास्तवीक बाहुन को वर्णन अर्कै नौं छ जुन हराएर गैसकेको छ भनम या हराउँदै छ भनम। किन की आज भोलि का बाहुन लाई नै थाहा छैन बाहुन को अर्थ। टुप्पी पालेर जजमान गर्ने लाई बाहुन भनेर भन्नु नै गलत हो। बाहुन भनेको सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड को ज्ञान बुझेको व्यक्ति लाई बाहुन भनिन्छ। जस्तै अनेकौ रीसी मुनि हरु (रीशी लेख्न जानिन) तिनका सन्तान हामी भयौ बाहुन तर हामी ले कर्म पालन गरेनौ र हामी बाहुन होइनौँ। आयो कुरा पण्डित को। पण्डित पनि बाहुन हुन जो या जसले कुनै पनि कर्म लाई शुद्ध रूप ले प्रकृति सँग जोडेर मानव जाती मा शान्ति फैलाउने काम गर्ने व्यक्ति हो। तर बिडम्बना हाम्रा पूर्वज हरु ले त्यसलाई परिवर्तन गरी लिएको हुन ले ठूलो र सानो जात हुन गयो। बाहुन भनेको एउटा समूह हो जो पढ्ने र खोज्ने काम मा व्यस्त हुन्थियो अरु ले छोएको न खानु को कारण अर्कै छ जुन हाल आएर कोरोना बाट धेरै ले सिकी सकेको पनि हुनुन्छ होला। मान्छे मर्दा जलाउनु,१३ दिन सम्म कीर्या बस्नु,जस्ता कारण सायद quarantine शब्द मै आधारित छ। जात कुनै सानो र ठूलो छैन तर पूर्वज हरु ले संख्या को आधार मा एक ले अर्का लाई आफ्नो मुनि पार्नु को कारण ले सानो र ठूलो जात भएको हो। आफै खोज्नुहोस्। पढ्नु होला। #no #offence #peace Jay Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵
Well yeah, bahuns face a lot of stereotyping. But I've never ever in my life assumed anyone's character according to their surnames, caste, creed, religion. I have friends from all religious, ethnic and social spectrums and we've joked a little about each other as long as it's fine by the other person. And personally, all the bahun friends I have are the most generous friends I have ever known. Almost sabai jaat ko stereotyping ko problem chha. Sab manchey harulai eso interview linu paryo. Newa, Gurung, Sherpa, Baniya, Marwadi, Madhesi, Thakuri, Magar, etc.
The newar in black tee got no chills. 😂😂 I am very proud of our generation for taking thus caste thing in a very positive way. 😍 Change bistarei audei x. Our society will rise up through these stereotypes someday.
6:25 Educate yourself and correct me if I’m wrong below. There are so many dances of aaryan as a whole. Not Brahmin chetri vaishya or sudra. But whole. Cause we’re all same. So ...Deuda ,Subgenres include Thadi Bhakha, Rateri, Hudkeuli and Dhamari. Also Chutki ,sangini etc and also maruni used to performed by aaryan too along with magars. Ps-magars are considered sino-tibetan group but are closer to chhetri and thakuri. (This is a deep and sensitive topic so I wouldn’t leave more notes about it here.)Also tarvare or khadga dances and other many dances that takes place in jatras in western nepal. Don’t just assume. Aaryan community in WDR and MWDR and east have probably started losing all dances doesn’t mean other regions have forgotten culture.Go visit and then collect information and then speak. Ps- yes, there are jatras in aaryan communities too that are way unmanaged and so many of them are forgotten due to lack of protection as most people are headed and heading towards gulf countries and other foreign land. Plus no attention from people in higher position.They have not been able to develop cause even protecting it is a huge deal then how can it be developed and improvised. It’s responsibility of RU-vidrs and influencers like you guys to go to such places and promote and make them feel important too. They’re mostly illiterate, sad and have hard lives already. We should reach to them.Write down what happens and take notes about how it originated and whats it’s importance. That’s a way you can also promote nepal as well as protect Culture.Kathmandu and people here are lucky to have so many infrastructures and many glorious kings and dynasties plus point it’s capital and it’s obvious it’s culture has to be the best.Nepal is only gonna develop with one major sacrifice from everyone and that is sacrificing caste and ethnic group. Why be proud of something that creates riot and disputes. Can we all just accept we’ve had enough of instabilities in nation and together work for making nepal better nation. 🇳🇵!? New generation is the only hope and if such toxicity is passed on. The last generation of hope is gonna turn into last generation of independent and sovereign nepal. One person with open mind in family can make a friggin whole new level of difference. 🙏 Ps- Had fun watching it.
Other caste people calls bahun by the name of Bahun !! Bahun doesn't get offended A Bahun calls other caste people by the name of jyapu/ bhote etc, They be like : oe muji Bahun new khojya ho ? By the way I'm not Bahun!! They just need justice 🤣
Huge like from newar friends to all bahun friends.. Akhir Nepali ta ho.. Bahun lai discrimination khayal thatta ma hunxa.. tara aru sana jaat lai ahile ni discrimination hunxa in most sector..
Nepal is still 300 - 500 years behind from first world, that is proof we still are devided into clans... ! we are not even one Nepali yet ! this is going to cost heavy for all of us one day...!

@Indra Bhakt before the nepal there were a small kindom in recent eastern part of nepal nsuch as kumbuwan (maj kirat)the native dominanet of rai caste and limbuwan (pallo kirat)nativedominanet of limbu people.
