Bossa nova é a música mais harmônica que o Brasil já criou. É uma mistura de jazz, samba, samba canção e um bocado de criatividade. Tipo de música atemporal que jamais morre. Lindo ver italianos terra dos meus ancestrais tocando nossa música.
Superb interpretation of this Baden Powell classic! I thought I would never hear a version better than the Toquiniho/Vinicius version, but now I have! Laura's vocals -- langourously lilting -- capture the spirit of the song perfectly, and the other musicians -- David, Mike & Thomas -- are excellent. I would only offer one suggestion, that instead of ending on a kind of quiet unraveling as you do, try to think of some coda of guitar chords that would perhaps recapitulate the beginning and end on a chord definitively. That said, the Toquiniho/Vinicius version does end on a fadeout, but the way they do it works better, perhaps because of the engineering in the recording studio.
