Bachata is a dance and music genre from the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 sometimes also known as traditional, authentic or dominican bachata, but that goes without saying.
The music is also played and enjoyed on the small island Curaçao in the Caribbean, where El Pequeño is from. There they learn to dance bachata by dancing with the dominicans at the bars called snèk (pronounced "snack") where the dominicans play their music. Snèk is a popular place to go and chill all days a week in Curaçao, especially fridays. A place where you can enjoy a drink, listen to bachata music and perhaps have a dance. Very similar to the Colmados in Dominican Republic.
