On day 41, we hear the third mother/daughter duet by Bailey and Melissa Etheridge and again, it sounds great! PS The importance of a tuned guitar cannot be underestimated😄 #melissaetheridge #concertsfromhome #gentlywerow
It's only me and my son but this song has the same meaning , he is now a man that has found his own way in this crazy world, as I have found my own way. He now is watching his own son trying to seek the light through trials and tribulations , while I as the Mother and grandmother still seeking the light also. We all will find out way home in time.
@@BrianandLesliesMommy No contact is sometimes the only tool we have...the narcissist cannot pull the string on the puppet if the puppet is not in close proximity. (I just made that up and it's only 7:02a.m. here in Nova Scotia - lol). Stay strong....
None of us knows the future...your heart breaking this week at the transition of your son and just last month all the love filled minutes of these beautiful duets with your daughter. May the healing begin for your family Melissa & Bailey.🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have loved Melissa since she first came on the scene. Her music is so heartfelt. She has touched so many people who were afraid to voice what they felt. Rock on, Melissa.
Wow... it’s rare I’m moved to tears but this one got me right in the heart. I’m a mother of daughters and of granddaughters and I will be sharing this. The sweetness of the two of you together is absolutely priceless. 💖
Just love to hear you sing melissa Ethridge!! You hit right down to the soul!. What a beautiful thing to see you and your daughter singing together as well and what a lovely voice she has!. Many blessings to you and your family!
This whole thing is so beautiful!!! The music, lyrics, singing, the story, the interaction, affections between you two, Bailey's shyness... Everything is just beautiful and touching.
Wow, Melissa, so beautiful. A mother daughter tune. Can be such a difficult relationship, but you nailed it with you’re kid. We just saw you at Little River Casino in Manistee….stellar show. Just played a couple of your tunes at my club, The Torch Lake Café. Much more love and success to you.🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👊🏻
I have been lucky enough to see Melissa play in little bars here in Long Beach..when she first came to Los Angeles and saw her open for Pat Benatar last summer...she always give it her all...if there’s 10 people in the room or thousands...she is the best😃😃
I love this song and seeing Melissa and Bailey singing it together makes me love it even more. I have seen Melissa in concert and she in so intense. Seeing her perform songs like Brave and Crazy, Yes I am and Like the way I do was absolutly amazing. It's great to see her in another way, so relaxed. Either way I adore her.
@cyndy kate: That's amazing! You saw her in her formative years. I first saw her around the time of "Brave and Crazy." She's one of the best live performers and singer-songwriters of the 20th & 21st centuries.
This is beautiful so precious 🥰 Bailey did harmony beautifully with her mama. I love Melissa, her voice has always given me goosebumps. So full of emotion and soul🎼🙌
Melissa, ur so funny! Bailey gives ya the key, [ no pun intended ],word And you said, " I didn't give her any writing credit"!! You 2 sound great, would love to hear more of Bailey. Harmonies are golden!!!

Dear Melissa and Bailey, thank you so much for sharing this precious moment with us! Beautiful voices, great song, emotions going right to my heart. 😍 I have two wonderful kids and I started to cry because I love them so much!💓 Since my ex-wife and I separated two years ago I only see them half of the time. It is a very hard time for all of us.😥 I am so very sorry for your loss of your beloved son Beckett. 😥 I hope your music can heal the pain. You are a blessing to me and so many more with your music and you have given me comfort and power in my darkest hours and I hope to see you in concert again soon! Love to you and your family from Germany😘💖
You're a very accomplished musician and singer. It's such a joy to see that your daughter not only appreciates your music, but, is following in the path and doing an amazing job as she's finding herself.

They should do a little tour together I think it would go over well as well as help heal ! Bailey sounds so beautiful with her mom ! My Sincerest Condolences Silence cometh over while a tormented soul sleeps ... Hush now ...🖤
I am not sure why this made me cry but so beautiful with your daughter!!!!!!! Her alto and smile makes me proud of you both! What an accomplishment. Thanks for posting.....
Thank you for this beautiful song and the privilege of seeing you and your daughter sing together and so clearly share such love. I have 3 daughters and we love each other so much, too. I will have to learn to play this song so I can sing it to them. I miss them so during this pandemic.
A relationship between a mother and daughter is full of love, but when that turmoil hits, it hurts. Sometimes we as mothers have to release the women we raised to learn life’s lessons on their own.
