Man… this song rips at my soul. I’m a medically retired Army Sniper of 9 years who thought I was going somewhere, career ended after some injuries in Iraq. Met my wife while I was battling the darkest demons in my own heart…. She saved my life. Battled along side me and 6 years later she still sees the pain and struggles. I’ve battled long and hard and wanted to give up, she’s tattered and heart broken seeing me scream and yell, cry and breakdown, she hates it. She should have ran long ago…. Here I am broken and begging for my darkness to just take a breather and leave me to mend my soul with my ride or die. She’s my everything. She is my heartbeat. Honestly f..k PTSD and depression. Anyone out there riding alone with your dark passenger, just look to the stars and know, your not broken for good, you just have to find a reason to mend your soul and drive on…. This song man, it means a lot of different things to a lot of different people…

This song hurts 💔 I had been fighting for my marriage for the past year. The fight is always hard when it's just you fighting. This past month I contemplated suicide and started to inflict self harm and 1 morning I woke up and said no more. I have to love myself more I have a son who needs me and with GODs grace that is what I am going to do. I will be filing for divorce and moving forward in my journey to healing and mending my heart. Men/women marriage is about team work in making it through the obstacles that life throws at you. It's OK to let go when you've done all you've done. 12years and 7 years of marriage. A son and a daughter... been waiting for this song to come out for awhile. Adding it to my Playlist here in rehab for alcohol and my lesson was learned to late. I will forever wonder what could of been with my husband, he threw in the towel and everyday I miss him and laughs in the kitchen. All I can do is respect his decision and go to court each month for the passed year. God give me the strength to be a strong woman for my kids and help him and give him peace. I pray for happiness to return in his smile oneday and help us co parent. I hope he finds love that I took for granted and when that day comes I pray I'm strong enough to be happy for him. I'm literally sitting at a gas station, crying in a booth alone, the one that was supposed to keep a roof over mine and my baby girls head and says he loves me pretty much picked drugs. They change him. . He gets mean, he's dragged us so far down I don't feel like I can get up again .... Our car broke I've never been this many nights without my babygirl we spend all day together but I can't sleep without her next to me she's 2. She's another reason it would hurt to leave. But yeah at this moment in this booth I feel like I could never take another breath and the world would be relieved. The shelters full. I could of never imagined... I wish I had him back... I honestly don't know if we'll make it.... Maybe we shouldn't. It just sucks when you've given so much of yourself years worth of sharing everything that makes you you.... Your childhiillllllll

I’m really struggling right now with all of the doubts and uncertainty. My best friend recommended this song and throwing in the towel is a lot harder because you’re longing for each other the entire time but think y’all can’t be together. The thing about music is that it has different meanings for everyone. With this song I don't think of a break up but rather my relationship. I have some serious mental health issues including unaliving ideation. My husband and I met 5 years ago; we were just friends at first. I opened up to him about my plans to end my life and my struggles. He stayed up with me all night for months, till we became friends and then more. He has been my rock when I have been falling apart. The lyrics "weigh down on me, stay till morning" have a completely different tune for me. They reflect every night that he has begged me to just make it through the night with him, every 3 am conversation where he has told me I am more than enough.

I dated a girl for six years since I was 16, I lost her because she cheated on me multiple times and walked out of my life. She doesn’t even care about leaving behind my family that treated her as one of their own and the whole life we made together with our pets and all the memories. Im literally broken and have been trying to heal for a year now, it’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever went through in my life. I wish she would wake up change her ways and come home to me.. but I know she never will, she couldn’t care less..
