I continue my quest finding the ultimate glider jerkbait and i found 2 other potentional competitors. One has an awkward shape while the other has a questionable system inbuilt. This Bait VS Bait video is about the Salmo Slider Versus the X-Rap Haku from Rapala. Are these gliders any good? Or...Do they suck balls?

Thanks! Daar zitten idd goeie tussen... Die Flashjerk van SPRO vind ik echt een pokkeding. Gek genoeg zijn er genoeg lui, die de flashjerk geweldig vinden. Vooral die flashjerk is interessant voor videomateriaal

Of course being focused can be a good thing, but constantly keeping your focus because you have doubts if you are reeling the lure in the correct way, can eventually be a b*tch... nevertheless, whatever i did.. it worked somehow..🤔 Belly buster from Stike Pro? That might be a fun one for a video, thanks😉😀

Hi, I have many suggestions for lures to test against each other. My favorites right now are the Rapala Haku of which I have almost every color and the Daiwa Lazy Jerk. When it comes to the Salmo Slider, I use 10F and mostly just crank them in with several crank stops. And I've found that Haku fishes best just cranking in with stops. The stinger on the Haku is designed so that the pike cannot break away from the lure and use the weight from the lure when they shake and it works fine.

Hm, i'm happy to hear that the hooksystem on the Haku works for you.😀 Don't get me wrong, the hooksystem did not even pop out the Haku 8 out of 10 times.🤔 And i even lost a couple of pike on the Haku's as well..😥 But i guess it's a good thing that the system works for you. And i hope you understand that this is just an opinion. For what's it's worth: The action, suspending time, the looks...it's all great. That release system made the lure a bust to my opinion. The Salmo Slider, i just can't used to the damn thing. But it catches fish somehow.. of course you use the floating version, i guess that one suits me way more than the sinking one..

Interesting. Salmo slider is one of my favorites. Have caught many a pike on a blue one, sinking version. It is almost a mix of a glider and a spoon, a bit odd, but extremely effective…

I have to admit, that thing does catch fish.. a lot apparently.. i just can't get used to the damn thing.. 😅

@@BaitVSBaitSalmo slider нужны короткие частые twich с одновременной намоткой лески. Без пауз . Попробуйте поначалу вести его быстро. Хорошо тренироваться на плавающей версии.

Great video Jor, that Salmo Slider works always great for me, caught some BIG ones on that lure. About the Rapala, it might look a little weird and it proberly is, LOL at first i thought that hook up system looks genious, well you proved otherwise lol. Keep it up Jor, always entertaining and fun to watch you're video's.🐟🐟🐟

@Rafix_Fishing Thanks! Like i said in the video, i might do something wrong with that Slider. It frustrated me but i have to admit, that thing does catch fish. Maybe i should use the floaters instead of those sinkers. The Haku looks beautiful..But you'll soon realize: it's like a beautiful Latina's bubblebutt... but when you come closer and take a good whiff, you start to smell a high octane fart that makes you 🤮... that system sucked and didn't work properly... but the action, the suspention time and al the other stuff is actually really good, just try it out yourself. You might think otherwise😁
