Today we took Svivlo Genesis ONE out for a test in some windy conditions. AS you can see it doesn't matter if you cast in headwind or tailwind, CastGuard will do all the hard work so you can focus on the important stuff.
I preordered a Draken One just yesterday and would like to adress some questions….does this work with any type of line (in particular Fluoro Carbon line as mainline). The Draken One has a spool tension knob it seems….does castguard work on any spool tension setting or is there a preferred spool tension setting? Obviously, with lighter baits I should loosen up the spool tension to increase casting distance (l‘m a seasoned caster, no newbie) and I fear this might negatively affect proper functioning of castguard. I would really appreciate getting some answers. I‘m really excited as you have created the most innovative product to be seen on ICast 2023 in my opinion. Congratulation!
Thank you and thank you for your order! We really don't care about what line you use as if the lure is pulling the line or not is all that matters to CastGuard. With that said, there's by default no tension on the spool and no need to adjust it except if you're a beginner or want to learn how to skip. Tensioning the spool knob will make CastGuard react quicker and brake more aggressively. I hope this answer your questions. Again, thank you!
@@svivlo Wow! Thanks a lot for your quick response and I think I got it know. If this really works as advertised it will be a tremendous help for me casting Twitchbaits (OneTen class, 1/2 oz and heavier) on Fluorocarbon mainline regardless of wind conditions with satisfying distances. One final question please….what‘s the range of lure weights to be casted with the Draken One? I don‘t expect it to be able to cast the really light stuff (BFS).
@@canam2436 Mainly size. Draken is a smaller reel suited for fish in the size of bass, and Genesis a larger reel suited for fish in the size of pike and walleye. Both reels are versatile in terms of lure weight and can be used for many fishing styles.
