Appriciated very much pt.parik he has told name of great ustad amir khan sahib,which ajay ji forgot,but is very good that ajay ji mentioned the way of Sargam which only usatd amirkhan sahib has done till now, No body can could do it till now

From the very first note, he captured my attention and took me on a mesmerizing musical journey. His command over the ragas and his soul-stirring rendition of each note was simply sublime. Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty's Ji voice carries such depth and emotion that it felt like every word he sang resonated with my soul. Pandit Parikhji looks great and still vibrant after two years of pausing the baithaks. So nice to have these sessions resume! I can understand most of the Hindi but it is nice to have the English subtitles!

Sir, with all humility - i had a different opinion about Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty but this podcast turned it upside down. I though of him as a concoction of different gharanas, mainly Patiala. And i would not quite like his bandishes. But i must say, what a philosophy and Thought process. His apprach to swar & Sur is so surreal that sometimes it was hard to fathom. What a philosopher, musician & Musicologist and humble learner. I agree alot has to be done in giving back to ragas while treating them as human beings, yet we know we have lost in time , alot of knowledge in music . There is nothing in music that our ancestors overlooked or missed, we just need to retrace them through passion & Devotion. Panditji is an authority on Sur. His Movement in Multani & Yaman was Mind boggling. I know him alot better now and will look upto his music from a different perspective. Jai Bharat ✊

At 2:54 there may be a mistake in the subtitle. Panditji mentioned A.Kanan but it shows ekanand. He talked about Pt.A.T.Kanan. so if you could correct that. Just for correctness. And pardon me if i am wrong.

Guru bin Gyaan nahi'n. Any Good able Guru has a total and basic impact on his student or the Shishya. To create an individual style is not an easy job but it definately comes to an accomplished Riyaazi Gayak gradually with experience and experimental approach. Its a long process which mainly depends on the amount of Practice and the Sur Manthan, done by a particular Singer or a Studnt.

"Mukh Bilaas" is too very important for a vocalist. One has to check whether he is singing Aakaar or Aukaar. The intonation flow and intensity of notes should be perfect. And this is mentored only by a Good Ustad or Guru.
