In this video Baja Trippin Ep 3 | Mag Bay Mexico Mangrove Fishing & Drone Flight Bahia Magdalena November 2021 I unload, setup and launch my Solo skiff motorized kayak from San Carlos, Bahia Magdalena (Mag Bay) in Baja California Sur for some mangrove fishing. I motored through the fog about 15 miles to the north to an area of the mangroves that some locals told me is good for fishing. I tried throwing plastics, trolling smaller rap alas, and casting / trolling a spoon lure in hopes of catching fish but all I was able to manage was a pacific greenback mackerel. There was dead bait fish (sardines) floating around in the water and after making it 25 miles from the launch I decided to fly my DJI Mavic Mini 2 drone to capture some of the epic views of the mangroves, sand dunes, and pacific ocean / islands in the distance. I make my way back to the launch against the outgoing tide and end up getting stuck so I have to pull and paddle my solo skiff to get back into deep enough water. I fished the bottom of the Mag Bay but was not able to land any fish. I motor back and land at the launch around sunset time. Stay tuned for episodes 4 & 5 of Baja Trippin 2021.
