For the snow balls after you roll them put them in the fridge for 10-20 mins so the butter can harden. They spread out because the butter melted to quickly.

Something that should help with the snowballs is to make then bite size! They should be small enough to just pop in your mouth because they're too crumbly to bite. Also, just roll them in powdered sugar after baking, then sift some more on top! They look super good that way. My mom and grandma are big into baking, so I've learned a bit over the years lol

I love making a ton of different kinds of cookies and candies during the holidays. So I had plenty of yummy goodies for work and family parties, as well as neighbor gifts and mail carrier and trash guys. It felt good to get all of that done.

I make those snowball cookies every holiday. I usually put Hershey kisses in half of them. The surprise is seeing if you get a plain in or a chocolate filled one. Both are delicious. I use pecans. Love watching you.

OMG I had the samething happen to me. I went to doctors who couldn't tell me why I had the rash. I lived on Benadryl for a whole year. I was working and going to school and so stress. After that experience I've learned not to over stress myself. Happy to hear I'm not the only one this happened too. Happy Holidays

This is why one I adore you and two we could so be friends in real life. "I don't care about samonella *shoves cookie dough in face repeatedly* I don't care! *more cookie dough to the face* Love it! I mean how will you know if you poisoned your friends if you don't quaility control the batches? :) We call the "snowball/suprise" cookies mexican wedding cookies. We also cheat like mad and just fill a bigass bowl with powdered sugar and drop the cookies in while still warm and roll them around for a bit. If the bowl has a lid give to a kid and tell them to shake it, everyone will get the giggles and they've helped make the cookies! In general if it's hoho time and there's sugar in it i'm into it (minus anything with icky coconut, texture thing just no) That being said however, pecan tassies are freaking delicious. They are like mini pecan (yes pee-can) pies that you eat like thirty of and wonder why you're so full and why your breath smells like pecans, or so I've been told by a friend *cough cough* The hardest part about those is washing the pan after. Under filling by just a tad will save the elbow grease needed for later. And, the cool thing is that on Trisha Yearwood's cooking show she made them like my granny's recipe. That one is also good for little hands they can push the dough out into the little muffin cup holder thingie. It also works well if you don't have nails either, found that one out the hard way and am now rocking the equivilant of a buzz cut for nails. Something super simple is taking two ritz or saltines (I'd stick with ritz but that's a personal preference) smear a bit of peanut butter on one side top it with the other then take melted chocolate, white dark milk any kind you want. Just enrobe it then put it on something waxed paper aluminum foil your tongue let it set up for a bit. Best thing you will put in your mouth for a few minutes. You could even do it with a nutella middle and a dark chocolate and a bit more salt on the outside for a super fancy pants grownup kinda treat. Thanks for sharing Miss Kim! This is a crazy season for my family because we have our youngest child's birthday in November, our oldest child's birthday in December (the 14th), and then Christmas. And since I'm the only person in my entire family who bakes, guess who gets to bake EVERYTHING for every get together?😆

Chill your snowball dough and roll into balls before baking. I use the recipe from Landolakes.com which uses pecans (toast them first) it’s delicious! You roll the cookies twice in the powdered sugar. You are always so much fun to watch.

hey Kim it's Beau!! i have some pretty happy news to share in light of the season (also merry Christmas)!! i will be FINISHED with chemo on January 6th and then in February i will get scans and be declared either yes or nay to being cancer free and then i will get my portacath removed!!! yayyy!! i am just so excited and thought i'd share the great news since you guys are so important to me!! also im on schedule to graduate on time in may!!!! love ya guys!!!

You’re also lucky he still fits in a baby carrier. My daughter at 5 months was already to tall she always pushed her feet against the backseat and it would eventually after so much time loosen up the seat so we had to switch her to the other one lol now at 7 months if I even tried to put her in a carrier her head would hang way way way off of it lol she plays in hers
