First let me start by saying that once I saw her cut that onion up like that baby I knew the food was going to be good, OK!!!! Everything about this kitchen just brings back so much memories for me! From the burner covers to the placemats on the table. I didn’t see them old lunchroom trays or or plate holders/covers(you know the straw looking one) but I’m pretty sure it’s in there lol. Love it! Your Turkey wings look absolutely delicious. I will be making mine tomorrow with some Lima beans and rice.
You must have a mortician in the family because you're killing people w/all that salt. 1. Seasoned Salt 2. Lipton Onion Soup Mix 3. Cream Of Chicken Soup 4. Butter The mortician won't have to embalm them, all that salt will preserve them. I know that's how we cook from days of old, but we can't cook & eat like that anymore, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, & the list goes on. I know we can't stay here forever, but what time we have here, let's be healthy & not have to take a wheelbarrow of medicine & go to the dr. 2/3 times a week, believe you/me, it's no fun. THINK ABOUT IT!
Not sure why people come on cooking threads and leave negative comments..not your thing..move on..no one wants to hear your 2¢ Thanks for sharing your recipe..looks delicious
Thank you so much, I appreciate you for that. I just think that the people that does that are living a miserable life and trying to mess up someone else's.
Honey I knew this was going to be good cause she used REAL foil not the dollar store foil🤣and when I heard that house phone ring I said aiight let me cook this meal and BAE-BEE 🥵 when I tell you this is my new way of cooking them wheew chille the best. Took me back to my childhood. Thank you ma'am for this 💞 good ole cooking!!! Be blessed and keep the videos coming.. #subbed!!!;
Girllll ALL OF THIS!!! When I saw her cut that onion how my granny and nem taught meeee....chile I knew THEN!!! Then she had that old school Lawrys. I cook many different ways but I thank God for the old school ways that my grannies and elder aunties put in me. You TASTE the love in those kinda meals, even when they are "easy"
My turkey wings turned out great I was told. I couldn't taste them as much because I was actually under the weather. But my significant other said I did absolutely wonderful. So thank you again🤗 And Happy Thanksgiving!!
@@georgiacookingforthesoul ....You throw down in the kitchen.A lot of the dishes are familiar ...I grew up in MS which is mostly rural area! I love to see dishes being prepared that remind me of home! Please keep cooking and sharing with us!
@@sheilab.7577 Whatup Home Gyrl! I grew up in MS too, in Winona. My grandma made smothered chicken all the time, and my brother and I had to catch the chickens out in the yard, chop off the head, and swange the bird. You do know what it mean to "swange" that bird, right?
@@PicknTime ...I grew up in West Point MS. My Grandfather lived south of Jackson and had a farm where he killed and smoked hogs. They even made their butter. I saw a chicken killed once and was traumatized by seeing it run without a head!
@@sheilab.7577 I also grew up in West Point Miss. 👋🏾 home girl. I wonder if we know each other? I just happened upon her cooking site. I'm Hattie Randle Heard.
My first time watching 👀 ☺ I knew she knew what she was doing when I first heard her voice, sounds just like my Auntie from Cohoma, Ms. Subscribed🤣😅😆😂😋❤❤❤
Cream of chicken on turkey wings . . . I will try this. I like to use 1/4 vinegar/.75 water to add to turkey wings. As well, I can see using chicken stock, instead of water. Thanks. I love your channel.
Could you invite me over for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Please? Not only are you a good cook but a super clean person, and i would eat content for sure! ❤Thank you for sharing your recipe…..
Love me some Turkey Wings! A little too seasoned 4me! But, they definitely look great! I think I will try that chicken soup for gravy! Yum…. One thing I love love love on my wings is smoked paprika and a little more heat baby😋
It might take 1 1/2 hours, but everyone stove cooks different so use a fork to check for tenderness. That's how long you cook your meat until tender and then make sure the broth is low enough.
Looks good how long u let them cook for i wanna try this did u say cook on 400 i usually do my twings on 350 oh can i use cream of celery for this as well
I just threw 4 tips away. I was mad they included them in the pack weighing it down for no reason. I’m a chicken person but hubby said his mom use to make Turkey wings so good so here we go. 🤗
You did an awesome job!!!! Everything looked so dang good! I know you said to put the oven on 400, did you ever figure out how long to cook? I know how to watch for the certain brown look. Georgia born and raised!!! 😉Lolol
@kennyth1334💯 If that's the case, all these so called cooks should be, & check ur ingredients before u start, to see what u don't have or low in. Go to the store & get what u need then start videoing because it's irritating to watch a video & the first thing the cook says, I usually add "this & so" but I'm out. What's the use of doing a video if u don't have all the components. It's useless!
Looks very good but I need to know how many hours it cooked. Didn't hear you say and I cannot cook without clear institutions. Some of us just don't have the gift. Thanks for sharing. Looks delicious and healthy.
I cooked them for two hours. Everyone cook time will be different, because every oven cooks different. That's why I don't estimate cooking time for someone. When cooking meat always check for tenderness, that determines how long your meat cooks. Good Luck!
Just ask me about any dish you want to cook, and I will try my best to walk you thru it. Most of the recipes are already up. If you need me let me know. That's why I do this to help all the beginners cooks and the ones not beginners.
This looked so delicious! You have beautiful skin I don't know why you don't want it to be seen. However I have beautiful skin too and when I stop my RU-vid channel I don't want my face to be on there either! It's just a thing I guess some of us have. you make the most delicious looking flavorful food and I can't wait to make this recipe! Be well and have a wonderful evening! XO
Cook until the turkey wings get fork tender. When you stick a fork in, it goes all the way through the meat. Then it's done or cook two hours and check it often for tenderness because everyone oven cooks differently.
Like I mentioned on another video you never state how long you baked the wings. This kinda reminds me how my belated aunt made hers. Been decades ago she has gone to be with her maker. Please 🙏 when you read your comments or shall I say go back over them also ajust camera so we can see the whole dish you start out. But this is some good country eating, I miss it so much. My Mother and her two sisters have passed on but this is how they cooked. They cooked the old way,
The reason why I don't say how long it takes because everyone oven cooks different and therefore; I whether say check for the tenderness of your meat and check the broth it should thickens some and have a taste, that's why I say taste your food as you cook.
Yes, any will work, just keep in mind the red, yellow, orange, those are the kind of sweet peppers all those other color peppers besides the green peppers are considered sweet peppers.
