The Cramps, Black Sabbath, Andre Nickatina, Biggie, Roxy Music, Children of Bodom, David Bowie… This video has one of the greatest soundtracks of anything of all time. So good.
It’s fucking amazing. I found out about a lot of those bands when I was a kid, through this video. They work so well with the video too. Can’t hardly Stand it, and Chinese Rocks are the stand outs in my opinion
This video was LEGENDARY to me and my friends as kids. So many hours spent watching this in computer class getting hyped as fuck to skate after school.
@@wlidbill5261Everyone got down in this video and it was an instant classic. Herm dog and Reynolds murdered this for sure. Spanky's part was fire. Sadly he tore up his knee and never stayed the same. Same with Herman I think but not as bad.
Nostalgic! Watched this all the time before going skating with the buddies. Dollin was always my fav back then in this film. Also had this on my PSP and would watch it all the time on the bus and other places.
First off..why isn’t this at sextillion views? This is not only a piece of valuable art. This is the realest; rawest, most purest point of view of real life skateboarding ever to be created, The epitome. Baker 4 life!
I would emerica "this is skateboarding" is the essence. Leo Brayden Bryan Kevin were Am even Matt Allen. Idk what happened to dude. But that emerica video the best. Andrews both parts.
This video played such a gigantic role in my childhood. Zero's Dying to Live also played a huge part, but this video did such a good job of capturing and displaying the hijinks that come with skateboarding and being around the general public. So many unique skaters and styles and song choices, yet it all blends together seamlessly. This video is forever cemented in my brain and is easily my most watched skate video.
2005 and 15 years old just got my new board zero dyinng to live i was the happiest kid alive, zero new blood and baker 3,i just heard that drum in the begining of Reckless Life i was so hyped. Went outside with my skaters and put an ollie 12 stairs :D Miss those kid years when there is no fear,no pain,no nothing just skate, friends tricks and hype about new videos and soundtracks from videos. I'm 32 now still skating and grinding for life. Best thing in my life was the first time i land my foot on a board (spiderman) hahah Skate and destroy
I will never forget watching this and being so inspired to skate. Got to meet bryan herman and braydon! favorite skate video of all time, so nostalgic.
This is the video that pretty much encapsulated my entire skating career as a young teen. Absolutely top three of all time, I mean, come on dude it opens up with a fucking Cramps tune. Don't get much better that that.
Skate videos became corny when social media skaters polluted the industry and street league 🤮. There will never be another flip sorry, baker, yeah right, emerica, etc.
The year is 2005 and you just came home from school, made a bowl of noodles and put in this DVD to have something on in the background while eating and making plans with your skater friends on MSN on where to go out skating later that night.
Lol nah we didn't even go home, we all skated to school and as soon as school was over we hit the park for a while then always finished the shessh skating street. 10-15 of us did this every day every night till graduating.
you guy's are a real testimony of skateboarding world. some make good decision and some dont (we see how every skaters turned out today) and now everyone know the warning. this is awesome thank you baker!
I was there sitting down next to spanky n the cameraman Atiba @ 22:29 i think his name was. Too bad i cant zoom in lol, Andrew Reynolds has always been my favorite skater since i was 12 so I was pretty much star struck when i met him n got to talk to him. Crazy to watch this video now and see this clip, it brings me back to that day, n its jus crazy how everything happened that got me there, right time at the right place i guess. Haha...ill never forget that day
13 - 16 the amount of times ive fallen asleep on a friends bedroom floor fully clothed with my skateboard as a pillow and this playing on a small tv with a DVD player lol..
i remember watching this when i was 10 years old. i wanted to be like everyone of these guys, fast forward 18 years later watching now man what id do to rewind back to these days
When I was skating all day everyday. This was one I had on dvd. Would watch it heavy all the time. So funny with great skating in it. Can still watch it and laugh and enjoy the skating.
4:35 Ellington’s kickflip front nose on that picnic table is my favorite out of every other time I’ve seen that trick done. Idk just something about the lock-in and the way he comes out of the trick looks super dope. Even if he tried I doubt he’d be able to make another one look the same way
I always loved the 360 flip to manual off of that bank near the end. And that motherfuckin steez of that backside bigspin though. Not to mention the frontside flip down that massive stair set. Holy shit. Dude definitely rips.
Caught me off guard with some of the hijinx clips replaced. Rewatched the dvd i got to double check. that being said it doesn't change the impact this had. Love it
I’m 33 with a wife and a kid, now can someone please explain to me how is it even possible since this video came out yesterday? 2005? Sheeeat how it flies
Time goes by fast once u hit 18 or 21. It seems like the release wasn't long ago. It's the fact time is just passing faster then ever. We pretty much almost half a year & new years was just recently
