The problem with the plastic products in the first place even after washing is that due to usage their surface gets scratched and something like sunburned. So to fix this the final chemical used needs to accommodate for this while also being food safe. @@allenwhite

@@ChuckNorris-lf6vo Thank you, could you let me know which chemical will solve the problem and still meet food standards? As most of our customers use buckets to place food ingredients, they are more concerned about whether the chemicals will adversely affect the food and the consumers.

Having a strong surface is important not to leak PFAs or plastics into the food products. For the red crate thig whats it called the food may not touch that one if its in jars. It will have a longer life and be cleaner if its treated because the abrasions on the surface trap dirt in the first place. So the end-to-end lifecycle management can include a chemical step for the crate at least.
