We finally showed up in the land of the kings, Kingsland in Central Auckland!
We had heaps of recommendations to hit up The Baker's Cottage so we took it on and grabbed their Steak & Cheese, Italian Meatball Potato Top and their Lemon Meringue.

That's the old Connor's bakery. Why did they change the name? Used to go there back in the 70's. best bread ever.

Cher bro, that's my local. It's a very good bakery but I find myself wanting just a pinch of salt on the pies. Their sweet stuff is definitely good. My tip for the bougiest pie I've ever had that is really good in my opinion is the Spinach and Mushroom pie from the Stone Oven bakery in Devonport. Haven't been over there in a few years so I don't know if they still have it. Cheers for the updates 👍🏿👍🏿

Been living in Mount eden for 2years now and always go to the bakery near maungawhau mount which is good but I haven't tried this one guess I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow

Omg that bakery has changed alot i remember going there in the 90s for the bread and those raisin cookies miss central Auckland wish they had pies like this in the US
