In the first ever OUT OF AUCKLAND episode, we venture down to Bethlehem on the outskirts of Tauranga to check out Patrick's Pies. If you're into your bakeries then you know the name Patrick Lam and this is his castle!
We couldn't go down and not go all out, instead of a Steak & Cheese, we check out a Garlic Prawn, Pork Belly/Caramelised Onion & Mushroom pie and top it off with a Peanut Slice and boy does it deliver!

Are they the original pats pantry pies? If so I went to tauranga one time and it was the first time I ever had a pats pantry smoked fish pie ,oh man it was a game changer

@@OffTheGroundProductions Yeah Bro. Those 2 Places Are Good Too. Blomquist Bakery is Very Nice they do a Beautiful Ham and Cheese Quiche Pies are Beautiful non off this Jelly Mince Crap lol. One Tree Bakery Pies are Nice they Got Nice Mince and Cheese lamb and Mint /Lamb Curry/ Steak n Cheese.. hopefully see you Vlog Those Bro.

This is one of the bakeries I was going to suggest, but you bet me to it. I used to owned a Hollywood Bakery a few years ago before moving to Aussie and I thought HB had a great pie until I ate one of Pat's pies. No comparison.
