I've been wearing Barefoot shoes for 4 years straight. They build so much muscular strength from the foundation up. I don't think I would have ever been able to move up to to swings as heavy as I am on my giant sword training. End of year goal 35 pounds.
@@JuardianK I loved my bedrock saddles had the same pair for 5 years. I've been wearing zero shoes saddles for about 6 months. I love how those are all natural material 🤙
Given how thin and flexible they are, isn't there some rather huge risk of a branch/twig or sharp rock just going through the gaps and getting to you (think arrow through mail)? Like, do you have to be conscious of where you're walking or do you feel confortable walking anywhere you'd walk with shoes on?
Good comment! I should've talked about that. The base of the sandal is surprisingly tight and I trust it in any natural environment. The most that tends to happen is that broken thorns can go through the bottom and you have to pull them out. There are some tree species with long enough thorns that I would want to walk cautiously, which means that a forestry degree is essential for true shinobi such as I.

I'm hoping to grab some more waraji as well once they are available. The oniyuri isn't my favorite sword but I'm still glad to have it in my small collection. It doesn't suit my swordsmanship but it's a very unique piece. Thanks for enjoying my stuff!

If it saddens You to see a store being removed from Etsy take a look at the cities razed to the ground. If You feel sorry for a guy who is free to take another job look at the thousands murdered by his countrymen (hundreds of kids included). If You feel sorry for his family talk to the thousands of raped Ukrainian women (kids included). If You feel the need to get angry at someone direct Your anger in the right direction. Putin is still in power because of those "regular russians" who see nothing wrong with what those monsters are doing in Ukraine. I am sorry to see that You feel the way You do.
