Bakhmut. The Road of Life 

This film tells how the snipers of the SSU Special Operations Centre ‘A’ defended the Road of Life near Bakhmut in the spring of 2023.
Our special purpose unit, together with the Defence Forces, for a long time held this vital logistical artery to gain time to regroup troops and prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukraine.
‘Our Defence Forces did everything possible and impossible to hold the ‘Fortress of Bakhmut’. The Special Operations Centre ‘A’ of the Security Service of Ukraine was very much involved. Working in small tactical teams, our snipers provided cover for Ukrainian troops,’ said the SSU Head Vasyl Maliuk.
Near Bakhmut, the ‘A’ unit carried out counter-sniper and counter-sabotage work, as well as adjusted fire for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
