No that's not why. There are 2 types of picky. Objective and Subjective. Subjective pickiness is when you just don't like the taste regardless of how well the dish with a particular ingredient was handled. Objective pickiness means, regardless of taste preference, they can determine if the ingredient was used well or not.

@@Itsant33 there are certain ingredients and foods that I can't eat. I absolutely will not eat anything with mushrooms in it, I would find it disgusting no matter what. But seafood, I would struggle with the taste but I would be able to tell if it was nice. There's also a mental element to it with how much you dislike the ingredient. In fine eating sweet potato, even though I don't like it, but I will vomit eating mushrooms, but I don't have any sort of allergy.

They only show a few clips. What I feel is: They do taste everythin tho, each contestant is judged by each judge. And if its not the case, then its totaly unfair

Maham Amir you maybe correct but if all three are tasting then why is it not being shown? Plus there has been dishes where all the three judges were seen tasting it. Doesn't make sense

Well, he was saying he made them with his daughters in mind, so I'm guessing his daughters only like chocolate cake. If he had his daughters' interests in mind though, he probably would've made more flavours and not throw gum sweets and sprinkles as the topping, and call it a day, like "damn, I need to do better, win the competition, get the prize money and spend more time with them, raise them properly, so they don't end up on OnlyFans."

When I watched MC US someone giving their competitor an ingredient happened ONE time and it was like a huge thing. In canada it happens like so many times, everyone is so nice and supportive of their competitors and I love it!

You can tell that Claudio didn't like the lavender cupcake, but still judged it on it's merits and didn't allow his dislike of the flavor to bias him.
