Last week I celebrated my 25th birthday... in quarantine! Instead of being sad about it, I thought I would try my best to make the day special and document the experience for you guys so it's like we're all at a party together lol :) I decided I was going to bake my own birthday cake from scratch while being a little bit litty from some wine, and vlog what I got up to during the day. I think this was one of my favourite birthdays I've had yet which is really surprising. For some reason I always find birthdays are quite.. not sad, but a bit of a let down for me. I always put too much pressure on myself to have the BEST birthday, and go out and do things that I may not normally do just to say I've made "the most" out of my day. Because of quarantine and the fact that I COULDN'T actually go out and do anything, it really took off that pressure! I spent the day enjoying the little things, talking to loved ones back in Canada, putting cute little sombrero hats on my chameleon Carl, and eating SUSHI!! So I'd say it was a great day overall :)
