Another fun Florida use for chocolate bars: We put broken up chocolate bars in individual lidded containers and throw the containers in the beach bag. Bring a separate container of your favorite fruit. By the time you get to the beach, the chocolate is all melted. Each kid gets a container of chocolate for dipping their fruit. BEACH FONDUE!!!

I started spreading the buckeye into bars in a pan so you can just spread chocolate over and cut into squares. So much easier😊

Hello!! Soooo you're chocolate dipping problem. Cookie sheet with parchment paper, then add a cooling rack on to of that. Set your chocolate product on top let it drip thru. No heavy chocolate feet and you can usually remelt the chocolate that drips below. Hopefully that makes sense ❤

Tip for the chocolate on the peanut butter balls: use a cooling rack! I put wax paper under the cooling rack to catch the excess chocolate as it drains off

A trick I saw a home stager do for stacking cookies was to take the top of the cake stand off, turn it upside down and stack your cookies upside down in it until its just below the rim, then turn the bottom of the cake stand upside down and put it on the cookie filled top, and then carefully turn the whole thing upright. It gets lots more cookies in your stand and also looks pretty.

Dip peanut balls with toothpicks. Add food grade wax or coconut oil to chocolate mixture.

Have you ever had Coconut Bonbons? They are so good. You roll them into balls and dip in your preferred chocolate coating just like the Buckeye balls. The recipe is 1 pound of powdered sugar, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1 12oz bag coconut (the one on the baking aisle), and optional 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or almonds (we always use pecans, but no nuts is good too). You mix it all together, let it chill for 30 minutes, roll into balls, freeze until firm enough to dip in chocolate, then dip and chill. We use tooth picks to make dipping easier and no one cares if there is a bit of chocolate missing, it's homemade not machine made. These are SO good frozen.

Amy, I usually ( because I make them a lot) fry my onions and peppers together for about 7 minutes in butter then add my chopped up beef ( no water) and add my seasonings when I add my meat. It makes the best Philly subs ever. But that’s just how I do it. I’ve just never seen anyone use water before. I hope you have a blessed day young lady.

you would want something that hardens ...you could make bars out of them and layer in a pan and then you wouldn't have to stand so long. Have a good day

I make buckeyes at Christmas too lol For my chocolate I melt a bag of chips and 3/4 cake of gulf wax. I only dip the peanut butter balls about 3/4 of the way and it looks like a buckeyes lol. Love your channel. Greetings from Ohio

We make something very similar. We add rice crispies to the peanut butter portion. Let them set up in the fridge and then dip the tops in chocolate. If interested in the recipe, let me know and I will send it to you.

My grandmother taught me how to make peanut butter balls. She put rice crispies in hers for a little crunch. Then the melted chocolate chips she added a little bit of paraffin wax to make the chocolate set up better like store bought candy. It also makes the chocolate shiny. We had them every Christmas.

All my hope is in Jesus, I praying and believing God hears and answers prayers for healing of cancer in my husband, the last chemo made him so sick and he is now in the hospital with pneumonia. He is a healer . Man when you draw closer things will attack you, it’s been an attack since 2019 of fighting with health issues. I know unfortunately we are not alone.

Sending prayers for you also Marie because people seem to forget how exhausting physically and mentally on the ones taking care of them everyday. Please send up prayers for my daughter who is heartbroken. Her best friend of about 25 yrs only has about 24 hrs left. She's going home. God bless you all. 🙏

think shortening or coconut oil. Detwielers carries melting chocolate, and you don't need to use shortening

Amy, I use the fatter round looking toothpicks in the peanut butter balls and leave the toothpicks in the buckeyes and that's what you hold to eat them. No messy or not as messy hands ❤

Hey Amy! That's a french dip sandwich! Yummy!! We make them using a packet of the ajus gravy mix and deli roast beef. I've never thought to add peppers and onions, I will for sure do that the next time we make them.

Morning Amy. The sub rolls looked delicious. When I lived in Pa we went to the sub shop every Friday night to get subs. They were delicious. Saturday was pizza night and mom made homemade chili on Sunday after church. I miss her and those days. Your kids have a great sense of humor to make fun of you while you're on camera. Hello. Wonderful day. Been working in the yard. The brushes are being taken over by weeds. Spending time with God. Looking at the limps and vines of the weeds reminds me how life can entwined and become a mess and giving our problems over to God and we won't be like the vines and branches yes we will always have issues but giving it to God time after time helps in our life.
