"Dear Oven Hansen" Host Matt Koplik bakes with Will Roland (Dear Evan Hansen) and discusses set mishaps, the benefits of "bleeping," and which version of "Rose's Turn" he and Ben Platt sing to in the dressing room.
georgiaisprocrastinating That's not always true I was in a production of big fish and the stage crew put up platforms up before they were supposed to go up so they wouldn't have to do it later and they could talk and two people almost got hurt bc of it
It removes years from mine The more he laughs the happier I am But also The sadder I'll be when he dies I don't think I can live without Will Roland man
I almost had a heart attack when Roland said his favorite musical is 1776. It was the first musical i ever worked on and was basically what kickstarted me into this as a hobby.
The poor editor.. also, from personal experience as an actor, if I get hit by something (which has happened many times) and I say I'm in the right spot *whispers* I'm probably not in the right spot..
"It spirals out of control from there." Me: "YOUR LIFE'S GONNA SPIRAL!! SPIRAL!! WHEN THIS SHIT GOES VIRAL!! VIRAL!! VIRAL!! YOOOOU AREEEEE FUUuUUUUuUUUCKED-"
NaTeesha85 you are so right! I almost held a contest to see if anyone would catch it - but didn't think anyone would in a MILLION years! You have won my heart. - Tyler ("Baking It" producer)
Why did I actually need a video of Will Roland baking a Banana something crumble, swearing a whole bunch and casually drinking from a "Coffee makes me poop" mug in my life
Fun fact (didn't make it into the episode sadly): Both Will and I have played Bat Boy in the past! That is a HARD show to do, but rewarding when you do it well :)
RU-vid is craaaazy. I don't pretend to understand how it works. If you want, you can check out Instagram, cause I always post when a new episode is up on there first :)
