Utah is a beautiful state, I agree. Bryce and Zion are a couple of my favorite state parks. In California, most people are warm but there are a few rude ones, especially on the road.

Hello po kabayan. We live in the beautiful state of Utah for many many years and I'm glad you were able to come and visit. I wish we went camping together 😊. I agree with almost everything that you said about Utah except what you said about how rude the people. In the beginning of your video, you said "2 weeks is not enough to learn entirely about the state" but then you forgot about that when you judged the people of the entire state of Utah as "rude". Siguro po totoo na rude yung mga na encounter nyo during your visit but I think it's not fair for you to characterized the whole state of Utah as "rude" and say it's a "big no" for you to work here (unfair din yan sa sarili) based ONLY sa 2 weeks visit nyo po dito. I want every Filipino out there reading this or watching the video that people here are contrary to what is expressed in the video. Utah is a great state. It has one of the lowest unemployment rate in the country, number 7, compared to Colorado (no.17) & Minnesota (no.20). We have 5 amazing national parks and more than 40 beautiful state parks. Tons of hiking trails, camp grounds, lakes/reservoir for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. In short, the outdoor adventures are incredible. Too many to mention. Ask the Filipino fb group here in Utah about their experience here and you will love it. Sorry po kabayan, sana po di po kayo ma offend sa comment ko po. It's not my intention po to offend you or anything. I just want to share my thoughts about Utah as someone who have live here for many many years in fairness naman po. Next time po na visit kayo rito, message nyo po ako sa instagram para samasama po tayo mag adventure 😀😀Message ko po sa instagram kung gusto po nyo. Peace po! And keep those videos coming!

Not offended at all. And you may be right it might be just the people that we met. But let me tell you we have been to so many states and we have not experienced anything like we have in Utah. There were many negative things that my wife and I experienced in Utah that I did not even mention in the video. I have co-workers that moved from Utah to Minnesota that said the same thing about it. I do not mean to imply that everyone in Utah is rude that would be unfair to say I guess I would say many of the people we come across were not the nicest and having lived in the midwest for so long we are used to the thing called "Midwest Nice". Its like the norm in the midwest. Everyone is so courteous and nice and have good manners and when you are used to this kind of culture it sticks in your head and when you come across something thats different, it becomes wierd to you and I think thats partly what happened. We were not used to how people dealt with us like some "giving us a wierd stare" . If you come to visit Minnesota you'll know what I mean people here greet you all the time even if they dont know you. There is a big difference. Im always honest about my opinion about each state I go to. We have been to Colorado so many times and I have never mentioned about bad experience with people because there were no bad experience. I love Utahs geography I couldnt be more honest about it but I also have to be honest about my experience with their people. Im sorry that I said something negative about your place but its my opinion and unless its proven wrong it will remain to be my impression about the state. My instagram is reys_adventure you can follow me and I will let you know the next time we go back to Utah.

@pinoylifeabroad3804 Hello po kabayan Rey. Thanks po sa oras nyo... Im not sure where you met those people. Are they hotel people? Sometimes, the hotel industry here employs a lot of immigrants who may still be learning about the American culture. But hey, I'm not here to argue with you about your experience. Please dont be sorry about the negative/s that you said. Like you said, it's your opinion from your 2-weeks visit here and I'm not going to try and prove you wrong. All I'm saying is that, as a resident of the state I respectfully disagree with your characterization that Utah people are just rude in general and that's why "maraming ayaw tumira sa Utah" as your video title says. People of Utah may not have your "Midwest Nice" but it doesn't mean they are just straight disrespectful. On behalf of the Filipino community who love Utah and the people of Utah, I apologize for what you have experienced. That the people you met were not nice ,not courteous, and not well mannered to you. You said you guys had a "lot of negative experiences that you have not mentioned " so there is a possibility that you don't want to come back but I will follow you on instagram anyway just in case 👍(mine is @overseasifugaoadventures 😉) To my fellow Filipinos who are thinking about moving here, you should visit with an open mind and remember that every state is different. It comes down to what your priorities are in a state to live in.

@@user-qs9ke7tw6i Honestly my wife doesn't want to go back because of the experience and No it wasnt in the hotel it was more outside like one time my wife and I was in a line at in-and-out burger and this woman behind us was mumbling and we could hear her use swear words like " shes f**ckn talking too much!" this was because the person taking our order was asking us some questions and I guess the person behind us could not wait and she looked really pissed it was very uncomfortable to see people behave like that especially for us who were first time visitors. Majority of our stay was not pleasant exept for the visit in the national parks which was absolutely amazing. My wife wanted to cut the vacation short because of her experience like a few times we were driving this car was tailgaiting us and looked really pissed because maybe we were just driving at the speed limit this person ultimately cut us off by the shoulder of the road and zoomed like a rocket. There was also another experience she had at walmart which I wont go in so much detail because its too much to type but I will maybe explain some of this in my other video next time. I dont mind giving Utah a chance we might go back another time. I told my wife I really love the place and like I said 2 weeks is not enough. They have the cleanest streets and the prettiest landscape but I agree with my wife that majority of our interaction with people were not the greatest. Im sure there are many good people out there in your state, we just have not come across them. There are always pros and cons in a place. And you are correct just because someone doesnt uphold the midwest nice culture doesnt mean they are rude. It could be just their personality. I dont particularly smile of greet people all the time but I dont think Im rude. We travel so much in the states and we have observed many people from many places. Every place has its unique vibe and culture. We once went to Wyoming which we thought we'd see some snobby people but that trip turned out well. Well Im just glad your experience there is nothing like ours that is good to know.
