That's what happened when singers in local joined the challenge. It is impressive. But, i was worried when she sang it further. It could damage her vocal cords. Nonetheless, she is a true embodiment of a versatile singer. Kudos!

Hi Ovela, they counted it correctly. The first pitch will (almost) always be the "Level 1." Same with playing games, the first one is the Level 1 which became harder and harder as the level goes up. In Mathematics, 8 x1 = 8, that's why the first one is considered as Level 1 'cause nothing really happens, it's just the same. Then it will just change on the 2nd one, 8 x2 = 16, which it became doubled. And so on, and so forth. :-)
one thing people don’t understand or dont take in consideration is compared to Gigi, all these challengers knew what they were getting in to. Gigi didn’t know she was there for normal recording also bet gigi if prepared and standing not sitting would be just fine and kill the song.

You’re right, they prolly miscounted the key changes in the beginning of the song. But she actually did sing on 10 different keys. Notice the transition from lvl3-5. The videos cuts and it says lvl5. And true enough, she didn’t just jump a semitone/half tone (which would’ve been lvl4), but one whole step to lvl5. So technically, that makes 2 keys. 😉

well i think its correct to say its 10X higher... you cannot say 1x higher, coz multiplying something by 1 makes it the same level as itself. so the next count or level should be 2x higher, right?
