The way Bakugou supports Mineta and tries to make him feel better- this is why he's my favorite, honestly I hate when people trash Mineta just because he's a short pervy dude but then they go and romanize them like Hisoka or the guy from highschool dxd and other animes where the male lead is a pervert- they shouldn't treat him any differently.
He also had character development lol, he was brainwashed by mina and isn't that much of a perv and I hate when they make him hate bakugo like bro he was crying the hardest in relief when bakugo woke up after being stabbed.

He was the first to hug him and cry about how scared he was when he thought Bakugou wasn't going to wake up, like people wanna push the narrative that 1-A doesn't like Bakugou because of what he did to Deku in the past....when in the anime, they literally didn't care and was just minding their business? Like they befriended BOTH of them, not just Deku, like they all were worried and scared when Bakugou got kidnapped, they were literally holding back tears, when he got stabbed, they were relieved and happy to know he's okay, and Mineta honestly wouldn't be getting as much hate if they mad him taller and made him handsome instead of cute, like he's a cute, tiny grape, but if he was taller and handsome/good looking, they wouldn't care about how "perverted" he is.

I've seen a few theories on why Mineta acts the way he does. But it could just be hormones. 1. Mineta is bi with a preference for boys and came out to his parents. His parents didn't approve and told him to only like girls. But the downside is that he has no clue how to act around and with a girl, so that's why he acts the way he does. There's more I've seen but that's the main one.
I love it mineta may be a pervert but he is still a human people shouldn't treat him like a monster or a trash he is fine the way sand he makes the series even better cause the way he is it's funny he's nice too not only a pervert
Finally someone who respects Mineta he is literally in my top 10 favorite characters he's amazing and awesome funny as hell to like I don't see how people hate the dude just cause he prevy like really dumb excuse to hate on someone
