My First Bible features the animated bible story "Balaam and his donkey", the Israelites camping in the fields of a kingdom called Moab. The king of Moab finds out that the Israelites have a very large army and that they are more powerful than him, for which he decides to hire a man named Balaam, to curse the Israelites and thus defeat the people.

I really like these videos but why, just why do you have to have the one white dressed woman use God 's name in vain? In every single video? Isn't that against one of the 10 commandments? My preschoolers pick up on that! It's sad I would have to filter that.

It's to depict God's love and protection to the Israelites, even if they were breaking the commandments. That's what we call "lovingkindness" or in Hebrew, we call this "Khesed".

@2:45 god says don't go @3:44 god changes his mind and says go @4:10 Sends angel with sword to stop him doing what he just told baalam to do If God knew the donkey was going to stop him why send the angel. And again God told him to go... And was going to kill him for it. @6:21 tells him to go anyway after just about to kill him for going because he told him to go.
