Balance Druid Guide for Dragonflight! 

This might be the best guide for any class i've seen. I really appreciate pausing and reiterating the rotation, most guides just run through 10+ abilities in 5 seconds. I end up having to watch 3 or more times.

I dont know if you will see this, but this helped me so much! I started playing Balance in SL and I was terrible and never found a good guide. I game across this video and followed your suggestions and breezed through my mythic+ dungeons today! Thank you

I tried a build focused on 2 minute CA with orbit breaker and the burst potential in AOE was very good. At first it felt weird using a damage CD to burst rather than focus on sustain but the 2 minute Cd makes is come up so often it feels great! I would very much recommend orbit breaker over arcane pulsar right now, especially for lower keys/heroic/normal since dungeons are so bursty due to the scaling being wonky. Edit: in response to the the aoe rotation explanation where people felt like stellar flare is overwhelming in aoe. Orbit breaker applying SF to everything it hits is super helpful!

Love the guide. One comment I wanted to make on the AoE opener - what are your thoughts on dropping mushroom BEFORE popping CDs, specifically when using Orbital Strike? Seems like using mushroom to proc Waning Twilight first, then dropping Orbital Strike on the group would be a damage increase.

Hey Naguura! Great guide ! Regarding the macros, i read it and I might've misunderstood exactly what was the issue but, give my macro a try, It works fine for me with and without orbital strike, it also applies all buffs before casting orbital strike (yours casts orbital before the buffs which may lose some damage if you are close to the mobs afaik), it also casts either trinket slot which is nice if you forget to have the "on use" trinket in the right slot, if someone has 2 on use trinkets then it may be better to specify which trinket they want to use thou. #showtooltip Incarnation: Chosen of Elune(Talent, Shapeshift) /use Elemental Potion of Power /use 13 /use 14 /cast Berserking(Racial) /cast [@cursor] Incarnation: Chosen of Elune(Talent, Shapeshift) /s Moonkin Buffs Plz!

Would love a quick video on the upcoming raid for Moonkin. Maybe which build you’ll be using for each boss? Which fights we’ll need solar beam etc.

Great video. When I was doing my M0's with a Havoc DH, I was WAY behind on damage and I thought I might've been playing fundamentally wrong. Turns out our burst AoE is poopy and everything died as I was hitting my first non-DoT spells.

Great guide! I'm having an issue with rhythm while juggling dots, eclipses, and dumping AP. The 40 AP cost of star surge while capping AP to 100 still makes it feel wonky. We need star surge cost down to 35 to make rattle of the stars work properly... or extend our max AP to 120

Excellent guide on the whole. Although I would say for single target and AOE targets we dont need rejuvenation, remove corruption etc. It is better for us to make sure we max out frenzied regeneration and that natures vigil. That actually gives us a fair amount of healing and survivability plus natures vigil gives some healing in raid while you are doing damage. Id also Use convoke for single target over incarnation. it sims a little higher but incarn should be used for M+

9:27 do you wanna overlap two fury of elune? do you get double the astral generation or is one of them not giving astral then?

I'm having fun with my boomy. Sure some buffs would be nice or maybe make sunfire and moonfire hit all targets in a radius. Overall I usually like to wait until the first patch comes out with all the tweaks just to see where everything stands. Because you know the class/specs that are op usually get a nurf, especially the new race/class like the Dracthyr envoker.

Make mushroom dot refresh with kindling and increase the talent to 4 then 6 per point , increase starfall damage and drop pulsar to maybe 400 and we good

I am struggling with starlord. Is it possible to maybe make an in depth video on situational rotation focusing on starlord? Do I use a cancel aura? I'm constantly struggling with hesitating to use spenders because I don't want to waste astral power near the end of my starlord buff. Or we're at a weird transition with movement, my ap has capped and my dots have fallen off. Do I throw out a starsurge before dotting or do I make sure dots are up to make my starsuge do more damage?

Is the starfire inside of lunar eclipse still currently what you should be doing? Ive been trying to figure out the ST rotation for a bit, but I've seen some guides say cast wrath inside of Lunar? That doesn't seem to make sense but I think im missing something.

Why is the bis a crafted two hander, but you recommend to craft a one hander with the potion buff on it?

I tested another macro for Casting Celestial/Incarn/Orbit Breaker and this seems to work with all combinations of talents. The blizz macros automatically apply things like incarn if you use the base spell, and you can use the [known] conditional for the new talents system. I also put the item id for the rank 3 potion as macros are a bit buggy with the multi-rank system for pots at the moment, they default to the lowest quality in your bags. #showtooltip /use [known:Orbital Strike,@cursor]Celestial Alignment;Celestial Alignment /use Berserking /use 13 /use item:191389

Nagura which one is hybrid?) Only aoe or single target not need, which one is for raiding?

Soooo I'm resto, geared resto but will be dosing for the first few weeks. I'm sitting at 20% haste in boomkin spec. Heavy haste/crit with some mastery but single target, I'm not running stellar flare and with cds I'm doing 68k DPS and bumps down to about 36k outside of having cds. I'm also not running elune beam, just the passive elune beam when entering eclipse. You definitely do more dmg than me in aoe, granted I'm not running mushroom but haste is definitely the single target stat with mastery being the aoe stat to stack. Which is weird because throughout other expansions it's always just been mastery across the board with some haste. I thought it was interesting enough to give my experience though. Sitting at 379 ilvl with a very high haste/crit build since stats are weighed differently when swapping specs. In resto I sit at just about 25% haste with 11% mastery and 18% crit but yeah, boomkin feels great but also feels weird when I still have dracthyr blowing past me at 100k single target DPS lol

What is the reason for taking the talent which makes your dots shorter? seems like you would just use more time refreshing them

What do you think about the "Primal Ritual Shell" Trinket? The wind one seems busted

on large pulls when capping ap and having starfall active, how many more times can u overlap starfall?

What is your feelings on convoke vs Incarn at the momment? I noticed even for single target it was not selected. Also if convoke is picked, are we dumping astral power as we enter eclipse first or just hit convoke as soon as eclipse happens to get those crit benefits?

hii, great guide :) could you tell me what addon are you using for the healthbars? the one that show them one on top of the other and makes it easy to select each one, it looks very useful for druid.

I have a question about the lunar eclipses, do we know the average difference between the solar eclipse or lunar eclipse spam on ST situations? I mean, that difference is that big? Solar Eclipse allow us to generate way more AP, so more Starsurge and Pulsar uptime Do we already know what it will be with 2/4pc ? Btw, thanks you for that guide, lot of usefuls informations!

Great guide :) why is it that in an AoE situation we don't get into Eclipse before applying dots? Do we not care so much about applying buffed Moonfire in this situation?
