my friend made a new character a while ago with cannon fist since there was potentially some synergy & buffs with plasma magic and explosive cannonballs, but that never happened. Instead, they NERFED cannon fist also thermo fist kinda just sounds like a button mashing 9 year-old's wet dream
Removing the heat meter might do the thing, boxing is literally better (excluding thermo dot) Making parries a bit more integrated in styles is a cool idea tbh.
Man, I got to say, you bring up some interesting points in your video here, I was wondering the same thing why vetex just didn't want to balance his game at all.
Hey just wanted to say that I do see some issues with Thermo but it's not that bad like everyone is believed that it is and with thermozerker I can tell you that I always had max heat in every fight and playing aggressive nets me high damage from combos while I do agree with the heat gain should be fixed but should only apply to warlock/warlord builds as berserkers have no issue building and maintaining it with a build supporting both high agility, attack speed and power
You know, im still confused of why they decided to increase blast cooldown, Fucking **BLAST** whats the point? Whats the point of increasing it's cooldown, its doesnt need a "Nerf". And vetex should really hire or find people who actually know how to fucking blanance a game. Thermo fists in my opinion should be a very aggressive fighting style. You quickly gain heat but also lose it quickly, so you must constantly attack to gain heat.
yeah thermo loses heat quickly but doesn't gain it that quickly (it also barely gains any heat from using any other fighting style, so it punishes you for using any other fighting style) i would rather have it so that instead of getting punished by not attacking, the player gets rewarded for parrying for using their own skill and reaction time instead of being punished, but just a buff to heat gain works too
Blast cooldown was increased to encourage the use of other spells instead of cycling beam-blast-beam-blast etc. Also to decrease mage’s close range DPS
