What else is there to be said? This was a once in a lifetime sighting in our own backyard, Wawayanda State Park. I am so grateful to be able to share my experience.
The black bird with red eyes is a Double Crested Cormorant - they are diving birds and you will see them sitting on rocks in the water with their wings spread sunning themselves - it looks like the batman logo
